    Better than the photos. Was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and stood behind a tall beautiful wooden front desk. The decor is well done and comfortable. Front desk agent Irene made me comfortable and took care of my online reservation. She was friendly, efficient and made me feel at home. The entire staff is amazing. If you need anything they take care of you right away. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are spacious and clean. Room decor is soft and textured. Here for a week headed to Alaska. Waiting to board Amtrak. As a solo traveler I feel safe and at ease here. Breakfast is good. Shame on you of you complain about it. The only complaint I have about breakfast is that I checked in while it was still up and came back almost immediately and ot was gone. She had just wheeled it away. Of course there was still food left but the breakfast attendant lied so that she wouldn't have to let me have any. I was hungry and had been packing all night. ( Ot was Monday morning of the hotel is curious to find out who.) Front desk nice, food attendant bad. Which brings me to door dash. Williston is a door dash culture. Dashers door dash Albertsons right to your room. The TV is nice and a big screen. It connected to Nintendo Switch easily. Yes the hotel is older and no doubt has some issues or might have a photo frame in need of help but I'm not paying hundred plus a night. I booked here for value because my train doesn't leave for a week and the photo made the hotel look astheticslly pleasing and clean. Better than the photos. Thank you to the entire staff except the food attendant lady who lied about food when I was hungry because she was too lazy to let me have any 😭 lol This hotel has great value. If you're thinking of staying here you should. Just eat first.

    We had a great stay at El Rancho. The complimentary breakfast was right on time. The staff were very helpful and considered request in a timely fashion.The restaurant connected to it OMG just loved it awesome food, great wine, and the best service they even remembered my name!

    20 mins walk from the Amtrak station. Good place to stay. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby
