Location. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was updated recently. The staff was friendly. The variety of food on the buffet. It was very clean. The trails are basically out the door.
The floors were not insulated well. The people upstairs paraded elephants across the floor till 11pm then again starting around 7am. The fact the pool is still closed. Would have been nice to jump in the pool after hiking all day. The layout of the room. The c shape of it made it hard to go in and out of the door with a bed in the way. Had trouble connecting to the WiFi.

It was a very nice lodge. Lots of common space to relax in. Did a few short hikes, very nice nature center. Nice park.
Did not care for the dinner buffet.

Location within state park. Rustic feel.
Pool was closed (has been for quite some time and will be until at least end of next year!), but website still advertises it. Rooms were nice, but lots of little things need fixing: fan did not work in shower, so bathroom steamed up quickly, door needed adjustment as it catches and you need to slam it to close, creating a lot of noise, had to set AC unit to 65F to get it to think we wanted about 73F; saggy mattresses.
