HATS House

I was very pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the home and its layout. We were 3 people - one couple, one single, and were very happy with each having a dedicated bathroom. The kitchen is expansive, and extremely well furnished. We had a little issue with the dryer, and the owner's maintenance team responded very quickly. The beds were comfortable; the water pressure excellent; the wifi worked flawlessly. Having grown up in Oregon, I had never visited this coastal area, and was blown away by its beauty and abundant wildlife. Wonderful walking trails along the sea, knowledgeable volunteers at Simpson Reef. Friendly people who stopped to say 'hello' and smiled back. Beautiful gardens at Shore Acres State Park; good food in nearby Charleston. We hope to return again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

We loved this house it’s beautiful and it’s right down the street from the ocean. I really enjoyed our stay and we had everything we needed. It was very memorable and comfy for families!

The house is very cute and comfortable and located near everything we wanted to do (state parks, beaches, town). The house is large enough for a great large family gathering Amazing communication from the property manager as well!!

The television in the living room had issues, it froze and we couldn’t access anything except dvd player. The turn-off into the driveway isn’t super well marked, it was little stressful to find I the beginning when there were vehicles behind us

It was quiet and you can hear the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped. Heating system worked well.

The picture of this house doesn't match what you see from the street. There are no stairs, a ramp has been installed around the back side. This house is poorly laid out. The only bathroom downstairs is adjacent to a double bed next to the kitchen with no place to put luggage. The king bed downstairs is a trek to the bathroom, two steps, around the kitchen counter and then through the kitchen. It is also in need of some love and extra attention to cleaning. Paint chipping along most edges, mould above garbage can, chipped dishes, range hood had tomato fingerprints, dust bunnies under couch (i dropped my glasses), The TV in living room is small and makes it hard to read the guide, forget about closed captions. Come to discover, dogs are not allowed upstairs so we could not use it. Also the floors are very slippery for an old dog to get up from
