Siltcoos Station

Full Kitchen. Extremely well stocked with essentials. Lots of interesting and historical train station memorabilia. Very peaceful and quiet. Beautiful view of Siltcoos Lake. Dog friendly! Beds are very comfortable. Laundry room. Kayaks and canoes to use while we were there as guests. Over the top better than we ever expected!

There are several projects in progress on the property, which is completely expected. We are looking froward to returning to see the progress.

Loved the vibe, had everything we needed and more.

Spotty cell service

Loved the location on the lake, the wonderfully decorated rooms, the kitchen was great, the quiet I needed- to sit on the dock for hours. The bed was so comfortable, the rooms were well insulated. And I was able to go out late and see the stars- what a gift. The owners were so kind. The value was incredible. I hope to come back.

We loved being right on Siltcoos lake and in close proximity to hiking trails. Our cabin (Brakeman's Bay) was cute and all the vintage furnishings inside our cabin were fun. We met Dannon and he was very kind.

The bed was horrendous! My partner and I booked this place for just under $500 for a relaxing 2-night getaway, but neither of us slept all weekend and we both left with sore backs. We sank into a hole in the center of the bed even though we are both relatively small people. At one point we considered sleeping in our car for a more comfortable nights sleep. Unacceptable. We also had trouble getting the stove to work, I'm pretty sure you can't use more than one burner at a time and not all the heat settings work. We also had issues with the toilet and had to take the back cover off and fiddle with it every time it flushed. We thought there was a charcoal grill outside our cabin (based on the photos) so we brought briquettes and planned to grill short ribs but the charcoal grill was in use by another guest for over 2 hours so we had to adjust our dinner plans. We can't recommend this place due to the terrible bed. We left tired, in pain and disappointed that we spent so much money on this place. Jean and Dannon, if you're going to charge $225+ per night, you should provide decent beds for your guests to sleep in. This was a very regrettable experience.
