    Better than expected!
I loved having the beach within walking distance, and we most definitely hopped in the hot tub daily! Everything was functional including wifi, wall heaters, dishwasher, oven, washer/dryer, ect. There's a good amount of trees surrounding the property and the deck so it felt fairly private, and I loved going to the third floor viewing room where you could see and hear the ocean!
There were minute cleaning things that didn't affect our stay whatsoever; could just use a good DEEP clean, but it was overall perfect for us! The only thing I'd say that needed improvement for us personally was some of the windows didn't have blinds or screens so we had some flies get in, and the house lights up with the sun! Also it was all good for us as a young mobile couple however the walk way up is slightly steep and there are a few steps. Nothing was slick though, and the path had a few lights on it!

Fun house that needs some maintenance
Location near the beach, pet friendly, and cool house design. Beds were very comfortable. The house could easily sleep 6 adults and 2 children. Nice wrap around porch. Note bring non BLU ray DVD's so you don't use as much band width streaming. Hot tub is a nice option, but please provide PH test strips.
Main floor bedroom smelled musty. Stove and refrigerator had damaged parts, but still worked. Flush handles on toilets had to be held or they fall off. Would like all the windows and doors to have some privacy as there was someone living in a truck across the street. If this is a year round rental, it could use path lighting as it is pretty steep and slippery in the dark. Did not use the fireplace because of the heavy smoke stain on the front, and if you do use it bring or buy firewood. Hated the $19 per day water fee and the $20 per day just because fee. It doubled the nightly rate with taxes.

    Charming house by the beach.
This was a charming home and we definitely enjoyed our stay. We loved having the beach so close to the house. It was a very easy walk. It’s also centrally located to numerous activities and fun places to visit. It was wonderful having the jacuzzi for the family to relax in. The house was well stocked and the owners were very easy to communicate with. Check in was very simple and easy. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future!
Even though the loved staying here, there were a few quirky things about the house. I wouldn’t recommend staying with multiple couples/families because the house is very creaky and you can here every movement/sound. The sink continually drips and the bath faucet has to be held to the correct temp until bath is full (it moves if you don’t hold it). These are all minor things though and did not ruin our stay.

    Good
The house itself outside and inside is really cool, love the floor plan and the cute little room on the top floor to view the ocean. Bedrooms are nice and cozy, the kids room is really cute and my son appreciated the toys and puzzles. The shower was nice. The deck with hot tub is nice. Love how close it is to the beach, we walked over several times. Was a quiet area, no noise from outside bothering us. There was plenty of toilet paper, extra bedding and towels for our whole 5 day stay.
The air conditioning blew super cold but no matter what we changed the temp to it blew cold air so finally just turned it off all together. The kitchen sink faucet was dripping for our whole stay but I got used to the noise. We were excited about the hotub but some of the jets didn't work and when we turned it on there was foamy bubbles almost like they put soap in it. Still used it though! The bathroom fan makes a terrible noise but at least there is a fan.. And the washer and dryer are in a spot that even when opening the door carefully, it bangs into them. Just small problems but my husband was disturbed by the amount of dust. They need to dust their ships and knick knacks on shelves, and clean Under the couch. Lots of sand and food bits that were not from us.. But the bedding and bathrooms and such appeared clean.

It was an enjoyable stay but some aspects could be improved.
Location was good. We were able to visit 4 lighthouses within reasonable driving distances along the Oregon coast. The hot tub looked pristine and inviting although we never got around to using it. The third story loft provided an excellent view of the ocean. It was a nice peaceful place to relax.
We arrived after dark because of a late scheduled flight. Email communication from Vacasa indicated there was a box in the parking area with six flashlights. However, upon arrival there were no flashlights in that box. It was unseasonably cold during our stay and the heating system for the lower level did not seem to work very well. So it was uncomfortably cold until we retired to the second story bedroom. During our second and third nights we bought firewood and used the fireplace which helped warm the lower living area. The price seemed rather high, approximately $267 per night. The posting for this house on Booking.com seemed to be a good deal at just under $500 for three nights. However, upon going through the reservation process, additional fees were revealed bringing the cost to just over $800.

Loved the location. Close walk to the beach with easy access. Close to old town and the sand dunes. Loved the wrap around porch with a nice big grill to cook our dinners. Open and airy floor plan. All the wonderful convenience of home! Plenty of sleeping space for the whole family. Didn't use the hot tub or claw foot soaking tub so cant comment on that.
Not that any of this would deter me from going again but I didn't remember reading it was a trail leading up to the house. So that made it a little difficult to bring groceries and luggage up. Also minor things like lightbulbs in the upstairs queen bedroom and the main living room, and downstairs sink was clogged. Also there was no mirror in the upstairs bathroom.
