Whispering Pines Lakehouse:
This Beautiful Lakehouse located on Little Woahink lake and just across the road from Woahink lake is one of the most scenic lakes in Oregon and they are sure to please the entire family. This gorgeous private home sits just above Little Woahink lake where you can swim, or enjoy your favorite non-motorized watercraft. After a day on the water relax in the hot tub or grill up your favorite meal with the gas grill on the expansive rear deck. Inside this wonderful home you will enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, a cozy family room with huge windows to enjoy the scenery, and books and games for those rainy nights. When it's time to turn in you will have two master suits to choose from, the first (bedroom #1) is a large suite with a king bed, a huge bathroom with a soaking tub, walk in shower, and private door to the rear deck. The second Master suite (bedroom #4) offers extra privacy located at the far end of the home above the garage with a private bathroom, a king bed, a futon couch that converts to a queen bed, and a private rear deck. The two additional bedrooms just off the main living space use a shared 1/2 bathroom, Bedroom #2 has a bunk bed with a pull out bed underneath giving you three twin beds and has a foosball table, bedroom #3 can also double as a sitting room and has a pull down Queen bed with a separate entrance.
This pet friendly Lakehouse has room for the entire family, close to the Oregon dunes, Old Town Florence, and all Mother Nature has to offer.
Woahink Lake:
Woahink extends further below sea level than any other lake dammed by sand dunes along the coast. Woahink lake fills a depression in the Siltcoos River watershed about 3 miles from the Pacific Ocean south of Florence along U.S. Route 101.
Woahink lake is popular for a variety of activities, including boating, skiing, fishing. Species include largemouth bass, rainbow and coastal cutthroat trout, yellow perch, and others. Woahink state park on the east side of the highway has boat ramps, a roped-off swimming area, group tent camps, picnic areas, and a meeting hall.
What’s nearby:
This home is a quick drive from multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean beaches including popular access on South Jetty Road then the city of Florence just a few miles north. The charming Old Town section of the city is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants. You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean. Some trails wind up over and through sand dunes offering hikers the opportunity to experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Bring your camera! Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are offered daily. Get your adrenalin flowing on a nearby dune buggy tour or with an ATV rental, or go crabbing from the Siuslaw Bay public fishing.

Nice location in the forest near the lake. We loved soaking in the jacuzzi with the forest and rhododendrons all around. Parking was easy for three cars. Short drive to town for groceries at Safeway or fish market.The two main beds were comfortable. The other guests in our group were unhappy with the comfort of the beds. Fortunately they were young adults who could tolerate soft matrtesses with minimal support.Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. We cooked everyday for a large group so we utilized the kitchen fully. We did not use the propane gas grill but did confirm that it had filled propane tanks.The biggest challenge with the property was the lack of consistent water pressure. Sometimes water dribbled out of the shower for 5-10 minutes before flow would start. The low water pressure was intermittent and could occur at anytime.The jacuzzi was clean and hot. We enjoyed it most days.

This was a great location and home to stay in. There wasn't any dish soap and the disposal wasn't working, but the whole place is magical. Loved it.

We arrived and cleaners were still cleaning... they did a great job. Garbage disposal did not work. Lots of windows and open floorplan was nice. Not a good house if you wanna walk to the lake. There is a walking bath down to part of the lake but cant fish, lots of debris. Super close to state park. Loved that!. Water pressure was terrible... only could flush one toilet at a time, it took time for the water to refill in the toilet for the next flush. The dishwasher wasn't mounted to the cabinet so it was super wiggley. THE biggest problem was no cleaning supplies. I would have like to clean up my mess after cooking and around the house. I would have loved to have cleaning spray so we would leave a mess. Our family won't be back to this home but it was nice to get away in a home away from home
