About this villa rental

Villa Francione is a two storeys design Villa by architect-engineer Arialdo Daverio.

The Villa is surrounded by a planted garden of 3000 m² with fruit trees, berries and flowers. The living room offers a 270 degrees breathtaking view that does not ask to get in, yet the Villa is only 4 min walk to the lake and beach.

There are three double bedrooms, one of them ensuite, and a single bedroom. Every room has a big wooden closet and two rooms have direct access on the garden.

The hearth of the villa is the living room on the first floor, built to have a full panorama view on lake Orta and the San Giulio island.

The villa also has a big covered veranda with lake view, a barbecue and a green open patio.

It is surrounded by a 3000 squared meters private garden, which guarantees silence and tranquility. It is the perfect place for kids to play, and for adults to sunbathe, grill or relax to the view.

If you’re looking for a classic Italian small town/lake experience with a breath taking view, this is your place. The Francine is an older house with so much character and a story to tell. Our family of six loved our stay - especially the view and location. Pettenasco is the perfect base for exploring the charm of Italy by foot, bike, or for day trips by train, ferry, or car. Everything exceeded expectation and I’m still dreaming about the local pizza. Danila was such a joy to meet and incredibly intent on assuring our stay was everything we hoped for.

Very nice welcome from the house manager, Danila, who was helpful and charming. Villa was comfortable but it would have been nice to have had some basics in the kitchen such as olive oil, bread and milk, and soap/shower gel in all the bathrooms. Good restaurants nearby, beautiful scenery, delightful area.

The location for enjoying the north lakes is perfect. The villa is incredible. Everything you need , just name it was there. Danila the hostes is so welcoming, every small problem or question , she is there even if it means come to us. The owner Gabriel also answered all very quickly. The view is one of a kind. You can see the all orta lake like in palm of your hands. A perfect place for the perfect holiday. Stayed 4 people for 8 days. Thank you for a perfect holiday

The place was very nice and most of it was very good. The location is beautiful and the pictures are very accurate. Danila who gave us the key was very nice and helpful. one thing was problematic - the mattresses in all bedrooms are old, not comfortable and very cracking & noisy. Ilan & Ofra

Loved exploring the local area which was incredibly picturesque with great walking and food. Villa was very well appointed and had stunning views of the lake. The bountiful vegetable garden was an added bonus and it’s worth checking out the wine & cheese shop close to the property.

Wir haben eine tolle Urlaubswoche mit Freunden in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hat als Überraschung selbstgemachte Pasta gebracht. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, funktional eingerichtet und eignet sich gut für 3 Familien. Der Balkon mit Seeblick ist etwas besonderes, es gibt noch eine überdachte Terrasse, einen Holzkohlegrill und einen Stellplatz in der Nähe. Eine gemütliche Pizzeria, kleine Badestellen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Das Haus in klassischem Stil ist sehr schön und eignet sich gut für alle Altersklassen. Es hat eine sehr schöne Lage, mit toller Sicht auf den Ortasee. Sehr gute Restaurants gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Managerin Danila mit Ihrem Ehemann waren sehr kompetent und freundlich - ebenso das Personal. Unkomplizierte und speditive An- und Abnahme des Hauses.

Das Haus ist weitgehend unverändert seit seiner Errichtung in den 60ern - bis auf die modernisierte Küche und die Bäder. Großartige Lage mit Blick auf See, Insel, Berge, inmitten eines park-ähnlichen Gartens. Sehr wohnlich - von und für die Besitzer ausgestattet und in Stand gehalten. Sehr herzliche und kompetente Betreuung durch die Haus-Managerin, die auch mal Pasta vorbeibringt.

Wir haben 2 sehr erholsame Wochen mit 2 Familien in der geräumigen Villa verbracht. Der Tag startete mit einem Frühstück mit Panoramaaussicht auf dem Balkon. Die gut ausgestattete Küche erlaubte uns lecker mit Gemüse und Kräutern aus dem Garten zu kochen. Die festen Betten sorgten für erholsamen Schlaf. Die Eigentümerin Gabriele versorgte uns mit Ortsinformationen und Tourenvorschlägen. Concierge Danila sorgte für eine reibungslose Übergabe. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne noch einmal.

Schön gelegenes Haus mit herrlichen Bick auf den See. Direkt hinterm Haus gute Wandermöglichkeiten. Gut geeignet auch für Rennradfahrer. See ist innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einkaufmöglichkeiten vor Ort. Man erreicht viele Ausflugsziele sehr gut ( Mailand, Stresa, Locarno etc). Empfehlenswert Fahrt mit der Gondel auf den Monte Mattarone ( Sommerrodelbahn) sowie Schiffsfahrten zur Isola Bella und den Nachbarinseln. Einziger Nachteil liegt direkt an der Bahnlinie

Das beste an diesem Haus ist die fantastische Aussicht über den Ortasee sowohl vom großzügigen Wohnzimmer, dem umlaufenden Balkon als auch von der schattigen Terasse. Dafür wären bequeme Sessel optimal. Das Haus ist nur über Treppen erreichbar. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und verbrachten dort eine wunderbare Woche.

Au mois d'avril 2018, nous avons passé 3 jours en famille dans cette villa que nous avons beaucoup appréciée pour plusieurs raisons : - la vue qu'elle offre ainsi que la luminosité et le grand espace de la pièce principale - l'accueil très chaleureux et la gentillesse de Gabriele - la propreté des lieux, la qualité de l'ameublement et de la batterie de cuisine (ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas dans les gîtes que nous avons eu l'occasion de louer dans la région) - les espaces verts autour de la maison qui permettent d'être au calme tout en étant très proches du centre de Pettenasco ( magasins d'alimentation bien achalandés et très bon restaurant "il Cortile") Si l'occasion se présente, nous aurons grand plaisir à revenir dans cette maison.

Villa Francione is a great place to pass a long week. In spite of some cold and rain, we were able to really enjoy ourselves with the Villa as a warm base with a magnificent, unforgettable view os the lake. Designed by an engineer, the details and spaces are of high quality and, for example, the windows pivot to open on two special hinges. In addition to the Villa, is its charming host, Gabriele, who was always within 10 minutes of contact and never far away. Rich with suggestions of what to see in his homeland, he was in integral part of our integration to Pettanasco. I can only give a high recommendation.

Well what can I say! Villa Francione was much more than we expected. Breathtaking views superb location and the villa was equipped with everything we needed and much much more. Thank you Gabriele and Danila for making our stay such a pleasurable one. I would recommend anyone wanting a relaxing holiday to visit Lago D'Orta and definitely stay in this beautiful home.
