Location Location Location. We are here for SCU and the reason we will always stay here or next door is we can leave our car in the hotel parking lot and just walk to the university. Massive Plus. It's all about location and access.

The first rooms were given this time were dirty and rough. They had missing grout in the bathrooms, marked up walls that need touch up paint, melted / damaged side table top from 'something'. Only one luggage stand for two people. There was a problem with the lights and the heater not working etc etc. This was all rectified by moving us when we said something but the rooms were then given to someone else... so those folks suffered. I'd stay out of the first couple rooms closest to the office... they are in need of love, renovation and attention that they don't seem to be getting. Warning - There are no fans in the bathrooms. So steam from the shower fills the space and there is no way to vent it or the smell if your spouse uses the toilet. Yes, there is a window you can open but in the middle of winter now your choosing stink, steam or cold. Bathroom lights - the bathroom lights (shower and toilet) are tied to the same switch that turns on the lights at the sink area (in view of the bed). So if your spouse needs to use the toilet or shower and your still in bed sleeping the lights in the sink will be turned on and light up the whole bedroom. Wonderful at 2am. The owner wanders to parking lot most days for hours. It's a little creepy. Sorta feels like you're always being watched. It's certainly not relaxing. If he was doing something it would not be creepy... but he's not... he's just wandering and watching. He's harmless and not a bad guy... but now you know who it is thats our there insuring your car does not drip oil on the cement.
