Great staff, just a few minor things.

The location was great, the staff was super friendly, the social was great, the morning breakfast was delicious, the pool was open and warm-ish. The room was spacious.

The area around the pool was very slippery when wet, even as adults we had to work very slow to make sure we didn’t fall, it was very hard for the kids. There were ants in our kitchen area. There was a blue light coming from the bathroom electrical socket that made it hard to sleep.

Highly priced for the condition of the hotel.

The location to my final destination was excellent.

I generally book the newest hotels everywhere I travel to assure the facilities are clean. I was parked outside the La Quinta Hotel, which was only a couple of miles away. I believe it was the newest hotel in the area. The price was only $124, but after looking at the options online, I chose Staybridge, even though it was higher priced. It was a bit larger and I figured it would be a bit more comfortable to work in for a few hours before leaving for my morning meeting. I was, however, disappointed with the upkeeping of the facility. For the price of the room, $184 plus taxes $205, I expected a clean nice facility. The entrance to the hotel was underwhelming. I thought it was the back door entrance. The carpets were old, both in the room and in the hallways, and it smelled old.

It was fine but I am concerned that the quality is slipping.

Everything was fine. The place was clean and kept.

Our room was not very inviting. It lacked little touches that make a place feel welcomed. There was cheap patio furniture for the dining area which completely changed the feel and my thoughts about staying here. I have stayed in the past and enjoyed the suites I have had. Please consider upgrading the rooms even if you need to charge for it. I would be willing to pay for a nicer experience.

Urine smel, don't go here

Nothing

We had to change rooms twice due to urine (!) smell with two small children. Don't go to this hotel. The General Manager was really rude to us in resolving the issue. She checked the old room only days after the incident (which she also impolitely refused us to join her) and refused to give us refund for those days as she said she could not smell it...

A+ Hotel

We loved our bedroom that was assigned to us- it's clean and the kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave etc. are a big plus. Toilet & bath is very clean. The reception staff with Ms. Jessica is exceptional. They are friendly & accomodating. Breakfast is OK. We'll stay again in the future travel. Thanks! :-)

Overall good experience

Clean, comfortable, usable kitchenette, good tub/shower, etc. More "freshening of towels" and light cleaning was done while I was away than expected (most days rather than 1x per visit or week). Staff shared that remodeling work is under way that will gradually bring everything back up to perfection. Convenient grocery store, dollar store, craft store, theater, etc.

A couple maintenance items in my room: dishwasher wasn't attached to counter, so it tipped (reported to front desk at check out as a possible hazard), and the bathroom door wouldn't close completely because it hit the door frame. Provided can opener didn't work. Swapped at front desk for another that didn't work. I bought one at the nearby dollar store, and it didn't broke on the second can... LOL. Apparently I wasn't destined to open cans :) I felt bad every time I let one of the stairwell stairs close by itself. They're set to SLAM... pretty loud. I felt bad for rooms near the stairwell. I often use the stairs because I like the extra exercise, but I could add that the elevator was painfully slow. One time I waited a long time... gave up and took the stairs, and STILL beat the elevator. Don't know if that's fixable, and since I like to take the stairs anyway, not a big deal for me. There were a few hours late one afternoon when there was a LOT of activity in the halls and above me. Never disturbed sleep or anything.

Out dated and not well kept for the price.

The location was where we needed but a bit confusing to get to on google maps. I like the separate bedroom from the living area.

Staybridges are good hotels and you know what you will get there with the bedroom and separate living space. This particular Staybridge needs attention. The sofa in our living space was torn and very uncomfortable. We had issues with the living area TV every day. The elevators were very slow. The breakfast was very bland. Our room was livable but it could have been cleaner and more up to date. The bath tub had lost a lot of the porcelain and the corners in every room including the common lobby space were dirty.

Passable

I left behind two sonic care tooth brushes when I stayed at the property two weeks ago. I have asked a couple of times about them, but they dont seem to be found. I followed up twice and still no luck. No one has explained how they are looking for the tooth brushes they are merely going into the lost and found and not seeing them there. No one has askeed the person that cleaned the room what happened. That is the only person we know that has direct knowledge of the issue. But its not done. just simply looking at the lost and found is all I get. BTW, I stay at this hotel one day a week since November. I think I am worth more than the effort expanded.

Content and felt safe

Rented the executive room for 9 days, was a very nice roomie room. Loved having a bigger fridge instead of a little one like other hotels have. Having a kitchenette was nice also. Didn't have to go out so much to eat, could stay in. Felt safe and could see my car from my room.

I think my only complaints would be is when we put our garbage out it stayed in the hall 2 days before it was picked up. Also. Would have been nice to have our room cleaned within a few days instead of waiting 7 days as a stay over. But glad there were sheets available so I could change our bed. Also, I think there should be more handicapped spaces near the lobby entrance. Just saying!!!
