Nice staff, decent space, loud room.

Staff were great. I extended my stay and they made that easy.

The rooms are in an old, old building that has a shiny new (internal) face. Large rooms, recently redone, though with the original old, cheap looking infrastructure. One bed and the wall had blood? ketchup? smears on them, which is just kind of a yucky reminder that others have been messy there and cleaned up after. The room was right on the street and the street is loud.

Great value for the money, clean comfy rooms, excellent friendly staff!

I come to LA twice a year to go to Cedars Sinai and I've stayed in the hotel several times and it's been consitently great. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is old and quirky, but they do a good job of making sure it doesn't feel run down. I love being able to walk to Century City Mall, there are so many food options it's very convenient. There's also a grocery store across the street, also a bonus. I can't understand why this hotel doesn't get better reviews. Also the loft rooms are really unique, very cool. It's also a very short drive or uber to the hospital if that's what brings you to LA.

Of course I am going to complain about having to pay $37.50 per day for valet but that's anywhere in LA. I'm surprised LA doesn't charge you extra to breathe. You have to pay for parking everywhere you go and you will not find a decent hotel with free parking, not in this posh area anyway! The valets are always super nice and I've never had to wait more than a minute or two for my car. Also, even in calculating the cost of the valet, this hotel is still about half the price of the double tree next door.

Great location, great staff

Great location for the price. Beds were comfy and the linens were quality. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Room hadn't been cleaned fully before we checked in (marks and hair on the toilet and bath, some of the 'single use' shampoo/body wash bottles evidently already used, women's hair all over the carpet). It wasn't particularly egregious and we're not fussed as it was just a place to get our heads down, but I can see it being an issue if you're concerned about cleanliness

Comfortable but high parking fee

It's close to where I needed to go visit the person I came to visit. It's surprisingly quiet. I like that they have quiet hours so it doesn't end up being a party hotel.

The parking fee is high and hidden so you don't know what you're really paying for the stay. Also it's charged the day you arrive and day you leave so it's not as if you're "staying 2 nights and paying 2 parking fees" - you're paying 3 daily parking fees. There's nothing to walk to i.e. restaurants, bars. etc.

Well located, clean and organized room, i didn’t talked a lot with the staff but they were nice and helpful when I did.

They could do a better job at the bathroom, since is so small and the view of the building next door is a little weird, like an abandoned building, what is crazy that is only this one building because around jt is actually a pretty cute neighborhood. I just couldn’t help but notice it because it was right in front of my room, i could see the old rooftop of that building. I could only assume that it dont belong to the hotel but maybe it does, but anyway I think they could try to do something about it. The location was good but I still think it was pricey, is not my first time in California so I know it is an expensive State, especially in LA, but still could have been less expensive, especially since it doesn’t have anything else to do at the hotel (no breakfast, no pool, etc) I’m just saying it so I could be honest about what bothered me, that was honestly almost nothing. I would stay there again!

PRETTY GOOD FOR THIS HIGH-CLASS AREA

Fairly nice place. Parking is $38 extra per night (without tips). At beginning coffemaker and refrigerator didn't work, they were replaced next morning. Several little lights in room at night on microwave etc. to try to avoid to sleep better. Shower curtain was annoying---inside tub it kept hitting me, outside tub it flooded the floor halfway. Room was nice and bed was good. Fairly convenient to Cedar-Sinai where I was going early 3rd morning. Probably a good deal for this area close to Beverly Hills.

Something besides coffee for the hot water. No tea, no cocoa no cookie! (well what do you expect for about $236 per day)

Good value for LA. It was also within good walking distance to the Aust. Consulate

No breakfast at this hotel but it did not advertise that there was one. The staff was extremely helpful to approve cancelling my 2nd night booked there after I was successful at being issued with my Australian emergency passport that day and could return to Las Vegas to complete my visit to my son and family there earlier. It meant a saving of a nights accommodation. Very helpful.

I am 76, so I was disappointed to be put into a room where the bed was on a mezzanine floor , with a narrow circular staircase to it. This necessitated negotiating these stairs to use the bathroom (all located below ) during the night.

Rooms were spacious and well stocked. Staff were friendly and helpful on the whole. Had issue with aircon but staff upgraded our room which was great. Store nearby was useful.

The location is great (near to Beverley Hills). The room was clean and the bedding was very good. A parking is available with a valet. The staff (reception and valet) was very kind and helpful.

Do not forget your earplugs, the room was noisy (road of 6 lanes in front of the hotel).

Great location, great value hotel!

The location is terrific. Quiet, comfortable rooms, very clean. Friendly and helpful front desk staff and valet. Yes, you do need to valet and that's the only kind of parking available. It's LA, it's how it's done and yes you will pay for parking, that's also normal in LA. (Don't park on the streets, you'll get a ticket or a tow.)
