Lux One Bedroom Condo with Garden View

This was my 3rd time staying at The Glendon, but my first experience with this unit managed by Jules and partner. This was by far the best of my three stays. The layout of the apartment is consistent with other units in the building, but Jules and partner have truly transformed it into a warm, homey, and personal space. The actual apartment is as beautiful—if not more so—than the images on the booking.com listing. Upon arrival, I was greeted with welcome drinks, wine, and snacks—a thoughtful touch that I deeply appreciated after a long, late-night flight. Having arrived late, it was already too late to order food, so this gesture made a big difference. The apartment’s amenities were impressive and well-thought-out. I’ll try to attach a video of my first impression, which showcases the following features: (1) Kitchen: Fully stocked with spices for cooking, a generous supply of cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, pans, and other kitchen essentials; dishwasher complete with plenty of dishwasher soap. (2) Living Space: A full-length mirror, two television sets (one in the living room and one in the bedroom), and comfortable, stylish furnishings. (3) Laundry: In-unit washer and dryer with a generous supply of liquid detergent. (4) Bathroom: Plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash were provided. The entire apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The owners’ attention to detail extended to the parking arrangements as well. I was given a choice of three parking spaces to suit my vehicle’s size, and I ended up using two of them during my stay. I was also provided with two sets of keys—a thoughtful and convenient touch, especially when two people have different schedules. The apartment’s location next to the elevator was a huge bonus, making it much easier to bring groceries and luggage in and out. Just suggestions to the owners/property managers: A rice cooker would have been greatly appreciated. There are many Asian travelers to the US. Rice is a staple food for us so it just makes it a lot easier to cook rice with a rice cooker. There was a rice cooker in the kitchen in the 2 previous apartments I stayed in at The Glendon The dishwasher soap provided did not really remove grease well, you might want to try a different brand, just an observation.
