Good location clean rooms

Coffee at this place is always poor but I do not stay there for the coffee. They serve very bold only and to make it drinkable you add 1/2 cup water. Then make a cup of tea because still not so good.

Everything was nice.

There was a gap on the door that you could see light in hallway. So not sure if anyone could look in. Did stuff a couple towels to feel secure. All was good though.

It came with a nice breakfast. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean, and it is a newer hotel. A workout room and pool were available.

The TV didn't work. It came on, but we couldn't view any channels. We called the front desk, and the lady didn't know what to do. We didn't press it as we were tired. However, I recommend someone knowing how to take care of it for future reference.

Great Hotel (and having been a trucker all my life, that speaks volumes.)

Location. I was here visiting a friend (Kimberley Faye Crouch Hosler)who has to go the hospital in Huntington every 3 months so location was great. Matter of fact I was gonna see about since she has to make this trip so often if maybe Fairfield could maybe help her with the cost since she's up here so often and she doesn'thave a lot of money. Cancer treatments are expensive. I'm from NC and I just come up here for emotional support for her. She has been given 5 yrs to live but she and I both being devout Christians don't really put a whole lot of stock in what a man says concerning one's longevity. I'm a walking miracle myself.

For me, I sleep on a firm mattress at home so the mattress was a little soft for my liking but not really a big deal at all.

Convenient to the Marshall gym

The room didn’t get very cool. It was set on 66 and it was only getting down 71. And it was very cold and I slept with no blankets on and that’s not normal. Also I was trying to take my 7 month old son to the pool but the water was so cold. But the room was 81 degree.

Nice stay

Nicely appointed, clean room. The woman working the front desk on Thursday (8/14) evening was so nice and gave us a room with a stunning view. Hotel is right off the highway but close to downtown Huntington. Several eateries at the bottom of the hill that it sits on. We were traveling with our small dog and there was ample room outside for him to use and waste bags were provided. Probably the quietest hotel we’ve ever stayed in.

I expected more for the money when it comes to the beds and carpet and things, but it was ok and good breakfast.

Old carpet and window treatments in rooms so it’s middle of the road hotel. I was expecting it to be nicer and better beds for the cost. It was just ok. Lady working the breakfast was pulling stuff away as fast as she could at 9am. I told her good morning and she replied but was not very friendly.

I review this location at every chance. I have never had a bad experience here and I feel I’ve been here two to four times a year for many years and it is always consistent goodness. The staff is always accommodating and welcoming. Recently I’ve experienced a great start to my stay with Jessica. As someone in management roles, do not lose her and do your best to help her rise in your organization. She is an example to her peers in customer service with a bright and enthusiastic attitude. Amazing to experience first hand. The rooms are modern and exceptionally clean and I e enjoyed every stay. Sadly, my needs have changed and I will no longer be passing through Huntington, but they have earned my recommendation to anyone who is headed that way. Thanks for many great nights at the property!

Funeral weekend

Hotel is very clean, breakfast is very good, people are very friendly. The hotel sits on top a hill with beautiful views from their out door patio. There is a bob evans, taco bell, arbys and wendy's all right by the hotel. Their prices are very good and the beds are very comfortable. The pool is small and very cool but the hotel is very nice.

The people and staff are the best asset at this facility, Jessica should be on an upwards trajectory for your organization, this is a person that deserves to be recognized. She is competent, knowledgeable, friendly and every time I stay, I get a welcoming feeling. Don lose this one!

My only comments I’ve made before, the building is beginning to show its age, everything is so exceptionally clean that when is see mold forming in cracks in the caulking in the showers, it makes me want to hire a caulking guy to make it look new again.
