Breakfast was outstanding. Lots of food items to choose from, excellent cleanliness and replenishing, and a beautiful breakfast room.
The only thing I would recommend is having more variety for the flavor of the muffins and the scones. I stayed there for a whole week and both the muffins and the scones were blueberry for all 5 days.

Great location. Quiet. Nice and accommodating staff. Light breakfast. Fireplace cozy. Highly recommend for those who like a kick back to old Napa. Not kid friendly - geared for the romantics and aged traveler.
I love it. But if you’re into modern sleek this isn’t it. This is ole school napa valley. brick, slate roof, and antiques.

Charming inn with slate roof and copper gutters. Very nice room with fireplace and sitting area with a sofa snd chairs. Comfy king bed with spacious bathroom. Nice spa and pool which we used. Excellent breakfast with delicious pastries from Model bakery. Had room 115. Plenty of parking. Easy 15 minute walk to downtown St. Helena and restaurants and shops. A 10 minute drive to the great wineries along the Silverado trail. Great stay and plan in returning.
Look of the building and location, excellent value

Great architecture and layout of rooms, lovely room, terrific breakfast, well insulated from traffic sounds on 29.
Nothing; we’ll be back!

Absolutely spotlessly clean!!
Not water wise. 4pm check-in. Why is it always getting later?

Location great! Breakfast ok. Pastries not real fresh and they need a microwave to heat them

Literally liked everything about the Vineyard Country Inn. Location within St. Helena was good and proximity to the rest of the Napa/Sonoma area was perfect. The room was very comfortable and included a fireplace. Very nicely appointed. Breakfast daily was very good. Staff were warm, friendly, and attentive.

The rooms are spacious and immaculate. We enjoy having a separate sitting room (with a working fireplace!) The setting is quaint. The continental breakfast is lovely and in a beautiful room with a big window looking out onto the vineyard. This is the third time we’ve stayed at this property.

breakfast was very good. The rooms were very comfortable and all the amenities were very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The only issue we had was that two of the rooms had ants. We had purchased some baked goods and ants got in the even though they were on the tables. That

Location & Breakfast

Great location, near to downtown, but picturesque location next to a small vineyard. Adorable small cottage vibes. Clean rooms, responsive staff. Cheaper than other options in the area. Great pool and jacuzzi. Great value.
Balcony was beautiful and overlooked a small vineyard, but was right next to a loud street. Balcony not as enjoyable with road noise.

Liked having living room and fireplace very much. Breakfast was good. Breakfast room is lovely.
Bathroom maybe a bit dated.

Noise from the road during the night kept me awake.

Scones are my favorite food. If I have a choice, I like plain scones. Just add some butter and they taste great.
Poor TV signal.

Very pleasant accommodation. Our room was very spacious – it even had its own living room with a fireplace, which is easy to light. The bedroom and bathroom were also very spacious. Breakfast was absolutely excellent. We even used the pool and hot tub – very enjoyable. The garden around the hotel is also nice. The location is by the main road, close to beautiful vineyards.
The only downside is the proximity to the road, which means a bit of noise in the room for light sleepers. Also the price is a bit higher, but thats Napa.

I was stunned at how beautiful the hotel was when we arrived. The reviews don’t do it justice. The location is very central to downtown. The room we booked seemed like we were upgraded because it was very well appointed and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Such a delightful place! Easily walkable to downtown St Helena and so many restaurants close by. Breakfast was simple but good, and they had a gluten free option that I could enjoy. Really enjoyed the hot tub after a day of biking.

Location, size of room, breakfast, staff
It is very dated and the, even though there is a grab bar in the shower, getting in and out of the tub is clunky!

We liked the location.
The hotel grounds were lovely; the room decorations were dark, old, & curtains broken.

Well located for Nappa valley and St Helena itself.
Breakfast room made for a lovely tranquil start to the day.
Room was comfortable and clean. Furniture a little dated.
Staff were polite and unobtrusive.
Dated furniture in the rooms.

Great location, nicely decorated room.
The room felt very homey—not ultra-modern or sleek, but more like a lovingly decorated home with warmth and character that matched the Napa Valley vibe.
Breakfast was served in a beautifully set dining area that made us feel warmly welcomed.

Lovely place to stay in Napa Valley: close to wineyards and tasting rooms.
The bed was very good! Hotel accommodation was superclean, really joyful!
All is very clean, for us this stay was a 10/10!
Very nice restaurant Farmstead nearby also.

We loved this hotel! The room was spacious, spotless, and full of thoughtful details. The staff was very attentive, and the gardens were beautifully maintained. Everything felt well cared for and detail-oriented.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Everything was truly excellent!

The room was very large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was an added bonus to staying here which started at 8:00 a.m.
The street noise is a little loud but I used an app on my phone to drown out some of it.
Coffee being available before 8:00 a.m. would be nice.

The location is good although it's a bit of a hike to get to downtown St. Helena. The continental breakfast was very nice. The back porch was a pleasant place to enjoy a glass of wine and snacks.
The room was clean but the decor seems a little tired and outdated. It really needs a refresh. One of our sinks was cracked and the faucet handle was leaking.

Our room was so comfortable! So much space. The mattress and linens were also super-comfy -- a great night of sleep.
Also we appreciated how pretty/handsome the breakfast dining area is.
We wish the breakfast had a platter of cold cuts and cheeses. Then it would have been PERFECT.
We also wish the swimming pool had more comfortable lounge chairs, padding would be good.

Really great small hotel in St Helena. Not a place to expect a whole lot of extra amenities but your also not paying $500 a night and the payoff is a large room with a very comfortable king bed and a great close in view of the surrounding vineyards. My room came equipped with a sitting room complete with its own TV and fireplace. Free wifi also
The only improvements I recommend is better/larger pillows for the bed and a couple additional breakfast options.
