Wonderful people, charming town, brilliant hotel.

This hotel is perfected located on the Main Street in St Helena, a short walk from pretty much everything - and a short drive to dozens of wonderful vineyards stretching in both directions out of the town. St Helena is quaint and charming, as is the hotel, and the team working here are just wonderful. Carole the concierge was so helpful before our stay and then the guys on site when we were in situ were welcoming, friendly and warm - the room was huge and well appointed and beautifully decorated - the car park was right by the hotel and easy, the spa facility they offer (a short walk down the road) is great - small gym but fine for a vacation work out - I could go on and on - love this hotel, will definitely be back !! Thanks so much for looking after us so well.

Only comment is that breakfast is a bit limited - the English muffins were out of this world but truthfully whilst appreciated - not sure this is the highlight !

It’s a really good option to the Valley’s over-priced options.

It was generally a great property—very nice room product and super friendly/helpful staff. Free parking in their private lot. Nespresso machine, bathrobes, slippers, umbrellas, everything.

Lots of loud road noise from Hwy 128 (it’s basically Main Street of St Helena). You definitely need to request a room on the back side of the hotel. Also, a minimalist continental breakfast. We had to eat breakfast out.

Great property, great location, and great friendly employees

Location is great in downtown Saint Helena. Everything was clean. The rooms were very comfortable and it was nice having a designated parking area. The chocolate chip cookies were good at night and the breakfast on site was great. We enjoyed speaking with Irwin who checked us in and was very friendly and had lots of information about the area. We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I didn’t like in the room was the skylight above, which brought in the sunlight early in the morning while I was trying to sleep.

Location is excellent. Good sized room. Within about 300 m to a Health spa with great gym and pool included in price. Central to the Napa vineyards and St Helena township. Sabrina on afternoon reception is very helpful and sets a welcoming tone .

Serene and pleasant.

The location is excellent. Right on Main Street. We were able to walk to lots of restaurants. The included breakfast is limited, but of high quality. We found all of the employees to be solicitous and proactive in taking care of us. Our room (ADA compliant) was surprising large.

They don't have door keys. You have to use your own phone. Very annoying if, like me, you don't carry a cellphone all the time.

Trip to St.Helena from Ireland.

We loved the Wydown Hotel, we stayed over a long weekend, as we were in St. Helena for a wedding. You couldn't get a better location for exploring the wine region, also for walking to the excellent selection of restaurants and lovely stores near by. The atmosphere in the hotel and the town was so friendly and welcoming, we felt at home. All the team working there were top notch. The lobby and breakfast area were relaxed but stylish. Our bedroom was spacious ,very comfortable, quiet, clean with everything we needed at hand. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to thank all of the great people working there, who helped us with every request we had. We would recommend the Wydown for anyone going to St. Helena.

Perfectly situated.

I loved the location and amenities of the hotel. The breakfast exceeded the expectations I had when I originally made my reservation. In addition to traditional continental offerings, the Wydown offered sous vide egg bites to its guests. This addition made the breakfast filling-- which was perfect before a wine tasting. The room was very comfortable and clean. In the evenings, the staff put chocolate chip cookies and bottled water on the sidetable by the stairwell leading to the guest rooms. The cookies were nice treat! My husband and I could walk to a different restaurant for dinner each evening. I highly recommend booking this hotel to have a central, pleasant stay in Napa.

Best Boutique Hotel in St.Helena♥️

There is nothing you can fault about then hotel. Great location, walking distance to the bars & restaurants (Market & Farmstead) and excellent pickup point for the vineyard tours. Perfect boutique hotel right in town

Amazing location walkable to everywhere in St Helena. Free off-street parking was great. Had a very quiet interior room, only noises were the occasional guest walking down the hall or the heat/cool unit in the ceiling. Breakfast is wonderful to have. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Will be back again!
