Loved visiting with Steven at the bar, check in and valet all were pleasant and welcoming!

Enjoyed sitting on the porch for breakfast. Service was excellent, food was very good and loved the coffee. Yes you could hear street noise but it is what it is but the resort grounds were beautiful.

Great Hotel!

The view from our room over Beringer vineyards was unreal. We loved the fireplace on our balcony, and everything about the room was great! The folks at the main desk were very helpful, and one of the managers Morgan went out of her way to help us out of a dilemma. Due to Covid, we found ourselves stuck at a winery with no Uber/Lyft/Taxis available and she found a way to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. We could not thank her enough! Alila is also walking distance to downtown St. Helena, which made coffee in the AM, shopping in the afternoon and dinner in the evening very easy.

The property is a little expensive, and it was disappointing that Acacia House (the on-site restaurant) was closed during our stay. They did give us a complimentary breakfast to make up for it, but it would have been nice to have the ability to eat onsite.
