Location was good, the remodel that was taking place caused the area outside the room to be very dirty. The room itself was clean.

The lady who helped me check in was super sweet and welcoming. You can tell they’re working hard to renovate and improve the property, and I really appreciate that effort. I like supporting local businesses, so I was glad to stay here knowing my stay helps the community. Plus, the price was very reasonable, which made it an even better choice.

Since it’s an older building, the shower drained a little slowly. As a suggestion for prevention purposes, it might be helpful to add mattress covers. Also, with the climate in the area, nature has a way of welcoming itself in from the outside, so regular upkeep in that regard would make the stay even more comfortable.

The rooms were completely updated and really nice. The pool was perfect, depth and amount of sun it received.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my trip.

The room was extremely hot when I arrived -- about 89 degrees. It took about 3 hours to cool down. I accidentially spilled water on the floor, so I wiped it up with a towel. The towel was almost black when I finished cleaning. When I flushed the toilet, it continued to run water all night & I could not get it to stop. I had to close the door to minimize the noise from the toilet flushing. The towels were dirty looking (stained). The blow dryer didn't work.

Provided coffee packs didn’t match the pot size, but that is a minor issue. They were great about giving us extra.

Staff and very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and AC worked extremely well. Great basic room for a great price. I’ll continue to hook here when I’m in the area

No breakfast

The pool was not open. I ask for a king size bed room and got a room with two double beds. Towels were clean but didn't looked white anymore and didn't put enough towels in the room. No shampoo, just a bar of soap. It was better the last time we had stayed there. Was disappointed.

Everything was disgusting

The room was very clean and presentable. It just had an up grade in the decor. The sink was a designer and had plenty of hot water. The beds were very comfy and the pillows were perfect. The air conditioner worked well. We adjusted to it being to cold by figuring out how to adjust for comfort. The Wifi was great. The Lady in the office was very nice and helpful in getting us set up in our room. The Fridge worked well and the small freezer keep food cold, but did not freeze. The floor was not carpeted and very nice vinyl planking. The sheets were clean and there were no blankets, only a top sheet. If you like a blanket it you will need to bring one. We had two queen size beds and used the sheets on both beds, for the one bed we slept on.

This place is under construction, the info on the website said that they had breakfast and a pool. But the pool had no water and was totally covered with construction trash. There was no breakfast there. The office is not open. It is full of building materials. The owner opened the bottom window and we checked in. Make sure that if you do not want a room that allows pets that you get it right. I accidently picked pet friendly room and called back to make the change. I did not pay for the fee and told them we needed to change the room to a room that does not have pets at all. She was really nice and said they would take care of it. When we got there they charged us for the pet friendly room plus the extra fee of 20.00. But gave us a room that had no pets. We tried to tell them that we did not understand why we had to pay the pet friendly extra charge when we did not have the kind of room. She insisted that we had to pay it and all the other hotels in the area were full because of the Kerrville festival. So we stayed. So make sure you get the right room and make the right choice. We are allergic to animals and that was frustrating. The room was great other than the shower curtain was moldy and it was hung up wrong and we had to adjust to get it work right. When we left there was no one in the office. There was just a man looking lost wandering and he waved and we left. Not going back there.

It's what you expect for an inn. The staff was nice and accommodating. Check-in and booking were easy, and the location to town and stores is good.

I mean, I didn't have high expectations so I didnt mind, but the bathroom was *very small* and while everything else was as clean as it could be, the bathroom floor was also a bit dirty.

There wasn't any

Room decor was from the 70's. TV was very small; limited channels and fuzzy screen. Very limited bathroom amenities and appeared to be a commercial toilet. The coffee pot was gross - brown debris in the part you add the water - it was disgusting and looked like it had never been cleaned. Carpet was dirty. No blanket - just the top thin bedspread.

no cold water in shower or lavatory. when taking a shower you have to use all cold water and then it is almost too hot, cannot adjust temperature of the water.
