A really lovely place.

My wife and I wanted somewhere to stay that was easy to get to and comfortable. We were at a wedding for the weekend and the place gave us a good start. We had plenty of room to get ready, a good size bathroom. The bed room has plenty of room to move around with a wardrobe to hang our clothes. There was a good range of breakfast food to choose from. Even better was the bacon and eggs. Everything was clean and tidy.

Highly recommend

Plenty of room, having a kitchen, large shower & comfy room, was like home from home when you're having to work away. Independence to come and go as you please , privacy having your own space and the quiet no town or city noises

A lovely little home from home and we will return!

The accommodation was really comfortable and the design and layout had really been thought about. Having a kitchenette was great and the little garden space was very attractive. Sue and Ben were both extremely friendly and accommodating and we were made to feel totally at home.

Everything about the accommodation was comfortable and the facilities are excellent. All necessary consumables for breakfast were provided and were excellent A bus stop to all local destinations was 2 minutes walk away.

Couldnt fault anything about The Farthings. Breakfast selection was fabulous being able to cook was a bonus. The bed was very comfortable i slept for 9 hours after a long day it was brilliant. Value for money will stay again.

Our stopover at The Farthings was impromptu, it served it’s purpose and was a delight.

The location was perfect, just a short distance to local pubs and shops etc, and of course those all important beaches, especially Woolacombe, Putsborough and Saunton. The property itself was in a quiet area with good off road parking, the rooms were lovely, like a home from home, so to speak. Cute and quaint, I especially liked the kitchen. The sleeping/lounge are was adequate, made better by the adjoining bathroom with toilet and large shower cubicle.

Great in winter, probably even better in summer!

It was perfect for our stay with two children (4 and 5). We were visiting family just before New Year. There are two double beds (one a sofa bed), which actually worked well for us for one night. The kitchen is totally separate and has everything you might need. I read some of the reviews about it being fully stocked with cereal, milk butter, bread etc, which is a really wonderful addition because it meant we didn't have to go to a supermarket etc. I would love to stay here in the summer, it seemed really well set up for summer stays with a little patio area.

I think there was a pipe noise once when I flushed the loo, but it didn't bother us aside from worrying if we'd broken something!

Booked at very short notice but room was excellent, comfortable and very clean as were facilities. Parking was easy too. Very welcoming hosts and would definitely stay again if ever nearby.

Perfect - clean and tidy and nice facilities for a family of 4. Own annex with kitchen and lots of essentials and nice extras all supplied for breakfast, drinks and snacks.

Absolutely delightful stay. Warm welcome from our hosts. Accommodation was perfect with a well equipped kitchenette, large bedroom and shower room. All spotlessly clean. Fridge was well stocked with provisions for breakfast including eggs, jams, orange juice,milk butter etc. Great choice of cereals,fresh bread, tea and coffee. Flowers were a beautiful welcoming touch. Farthings goes above and beyond and we really appreciated everything.
