Not as clean as I thought

I like that there was a table I could work on. I also liked that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The bed was comfortable. I was surprised to see that the window opened so people could get fresh air.

Even though the room was clean it had a greasy smell to it. And the heat component in the A/C smelled bad. There were roaches in the room. I had to dump the trash multiple times a day so the roaches wouldn't be attracted to the trash. I would not be staying at this place again.

Property is decent, could definitely use some improvement.

Easy to Check IN and OUT, the front desk associate was somewhat helpful, didn’t really clarify about my room being booked and they don’t disclose about a $20 deposit upon arrival. Other than that nothing out of the usual would recommend for a one or two nights stay if you’re in Montebello city.

Unfortunately, I had asked the front desk associate if there was an ice machine on the property that was actually functioning. There was not and from the looks of things that machine has been down for more than a week. Let’s say because of the amount of spiderwebs and rust on the exterior no ice machine. Furthermore, the shower threw me off a little bit. It’s as if they want you to splash water everywhere because there’s no tub. It’s just a walk in shower with a showerhead. My only request was to have Clean Linen during my stay and how unfortunate to discover that there was a small food stain on the comforter. In full disclosure I rate this property below 4 stars, but is definitely convenient.

Beautiful comfortable and clean. Quiet enough for children and cool enough for adults. I had an awesome stay. I loved it, it is my go-to place from now on!!

I only wish they accept payments by tap. for instance Google pay or wallet pay I wanted to use my cash app card with tap from my phone and they wouldn't accept it. So that has caused me to not stay there on the 3rd and now today the 4th and for the next week or so. Expand the payment methods accepted. Please.

It was quite cheap. Free parking. Big room. Fridge and microwave in room. Pretty clean.

First room we were given had a window onto ground floor path that didn't lock. You could open it from the outside. I reported it and was told "no" but I think it was a language barrier. Eventually got sorted out with a phone call and the cleaner helping check it. Should have been easier to resolve but we got moved rooms. There is no storage in the rooms. Some little shelves, drawers, more hanger, bathroom shelves etc. needed. The shower was very low down as if for a 150cm tall person. I'm not that tall only 183cm. The electrical outlet sockets on 1 side of the bed were broken. It was so far away from everywhere for us. Lots of driving.

Do NOt book this on any type of app, it’s a false booking they will take only debit cards and credit cards and won’t book how you like on booking .com app. As I arrived the front desk said rooms not booked and they don’t use and services like Afterpay, Klarna or any others, so I thought I had paid with Afterpay but its just reserved, not actually paid booking. I was very upset since I wasn’t planning to use my cards for this and was forced to use , very upsetting !!! Then they make you write out a sheet for your info , home address and all …… this was a complete waste of time and energy, the staff was mediocre in my inconvenience and gave me side eyed Looks when I was surprised in what I needed to NOW do to book the room….. was very disappointing !!!!

It was very clean and within driving distance of everything. The bed was comfortable. Staff were courteous and helpful. The parking area was extremely lit up and monitored with cameras. Felt safe. Great value for the length of stay.

The only negative was you could sometimes hear the loud trucks nearby. But overall it was quiet and comfortable.

Highly not recommended.

The staff is pushy, rude, and intrusive. There are loud bangs coming from the neighborhood, perhaps even gunshots in the middle of the night that startle you. The owners are always compelled to call the police because the hotel is insecure. In 2025, if you find a poor cat in need, you give it food and water, and if you can't adopt it, you call an organization to find it a good home, the hotel owner has only expressed words of disgust and contempt for a starving cat that wanders by. She said she doesn't care if it's hungry or thirsty, that it should just stay away and make faces, she's a heartless woman was shocked and horrified by his behavior.

Awful

Neglected room, dusty and rusty. The owners treat the waitresses with extreme kindness and friendliness, and that's fair enough, but it would be fair to treat the customers the same way. But no! The poor customers are treated coldly, spied on, scolded, mocked, teased, judged, criticized, kept under observation, monitored, and judged with the complicity of the waitresses. After staying there several nights, they scolded me for taking only one roll of toilet paper! The more nights you stay, the ruder they are. They use excessive amounts of chemicals to poison people, thinking they're giving the impression of cleanliness, but the bedspreads are almost black to cover the stains. The sink is moldy and smells bad, I had to clean all the rooms myself. The pillows are old. The flowerbeds are full of plastic waste that no one removes. We stayed in that awful place only because it was close to our workplace, now, finally, I've been staying in a hotel where they're really kind and after all that suffering we really deserve!

No Everything don't like, bad experience! Over the forniture there is a lot of dust. The sinks are moldy, the tub is clogged, and in the middle of the night there are bangs... like gunshots that keep you awake at night. The maids are gossips and did everything they could to sow discord between us and the owner, making up stories about our room being particularly dirty, when they leave the mess. In one room there were boogers on the wall, and I had to clean it myself

It was just like the photos! Clean and Comfortable. Compared to other hotel stays i’ve had in CA, this was very much acceptable. Staff were great, they really cared about their guests. Didn’t cause no hassle, everything went smoothly through check in and check out. I’d definitely stay here again.

A/C works great, very safe and comfortable place. I liked how clean and nice the room was, I was pretty surprised in a good way. They come in the room while you’re gone and clean it up and take the trashes out/make the bed (I was a little sus at first but it’s nice I guess)

Honestly not much to complain about. The parking can be meh but you get what you get. Better than on the street. The toilet paper is military grade (bootcamp TP lol) wish it was a little thicker but I brought my own supply so no problem.

For the price, the room was perfect. Big room, great water pressure, clean, bed was comfortable enough, love the pillows. It was located pretty close to everything I needed, a walmart like 5 minutes away, and some restaurants.

The rooms are clean and updated. The price was reasonable. Very quiet, no loud guest. The staff was able to accommodate my request of downstairs. This is my spot for all my trips to LA area. I feel safe here. I come out to the Surrounding areas of Los Angeles for biking events and this is my go to hotel stay.

Over all I had a great experience at this place, I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Room 204 was clean and looks remodeled and up to date. The wifi in this room worked great, I was working from the room and was able to work pretty comfortably throughout the day. I had no issues with my car parked over night in the parking lot which is always a good thing. The property is right off the Blvd and close to many shopping centers and restaurants which is very convenient. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I did not take photos of the lobby or the outside as it wasn’t anything worth capturing.

The property needs some exterior work, a repainting of the property would give it a newer more welcoming look. I did find a small dead roach in the sink which was not a nice sight to see but I imagine it made its way up the pipes because I did not see any roaches elsewhere.
