The location could not be more perfect, right on south congress and in walking distance to some amazing stores, restaurants and bars! Easy to get around and to the airport. The hotel has so much charm and the staff was so friendly. I cant wait to come back!

I really enjoyed my stay at Austin Motel. The location is excellent, the staff are warm and helpful, and the free parking is a rare and valuable bonus in the area. The rooms are creative, comfortable, and full of personality, making it a fun and easy place to stay
One downside was the noise. I could clearly hear the guest above me late at night, including the bed squeaking, which made it hard to fully relax. The blinds are also inadequate, and a lot of light floods the room, making sleep somewhat challenging. It is also worth noting that during peak tourist times, Congress Avenue can become quite congested with both pedestrians and cars

I actually loved everything except the room. Specifically, the location on South Congress was close to everything, the pool was clean fresh and fun. They have a bartender serving delicious drinks! The restaurant was so so good!!
The room was tiny. Tiny can be okay if they create a place for your suitcase. Like something you pull out of wall, like a sturdy shelf to place your suitcase on. We unfortunately had to place our suitcase on the floor and stepping over it became ridiculous. The bathroom had a yucky shower curtain that blew and touched your body when you showered! So scary.
