Grand Traverse Resort is a very nice place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed and reasonably priced. Every staff member we interfaced with was very pleasant and helpful.

Booked in advance in the hotel for Valentines day and the room was awesome for the price. Stylish, clean and quiet. Only thing that isn't great is the $20 resort fee they force on you when you check out.

The price was high on everything, my son only ate a container of cereal and I had to pay almost 20 dollars for it. There was not enough parking available, car were parked everywhere. Then when I checked out there was an extra charge of about $21 dollars per night that I did not expect. When I asked what it was for they just told me everyone has to pay it. If that is the case it should have been included in the room rate, not added on when I check out as a parting surprise.
