Amazing

Hotel is a solid four stars for furnishings, cleanliness, staff, and overall comfort. Other issues below might be considered when comparing options: Quiet- both of our rooms were along the highway but noise was buffered enough to sleep through the night. HVAC is loud but maybe that's good to drown out highway noise. Food- no breakfast provided. Facilities- Indoor pool and jacuzzi available (didn't use them). Laundry available but 1 washer & 1 dryer for this big hotel.

I checked in for a week stay and was told that ALL outside doors were locked, and only accessible by scanning your room key. The very 1st time I needed to enter the North side outter doors, which was approximately 2:30 pm, it was unlocked and no room key needed. Anyone could of came into the building. I went directly to the front desk and asked why the door was unlocked. They said it might be because staff or employees were working in that area. They assured me it would be locked soon. I left and returned about 9pm. And the door was still unlocked. I once again went to the front desk and voiced my concerns. They assured me they would send someone to check on it. For the next 2 days, I went to the front desk about the door still being unlocked, but they didn't seem very concerned about it. As a solo female guest, my safety, or thar of any other guests, was not taken very seriously at all. I can't imagine that a hotel would not put their guest safely as a top priority. I also had issues with the bathroom sink not draining. Housekeeping notified the front desk for me, but it was still not draing that evening when I returned to my room. The following day I left and returned to find my sink coated in black residue. They did send a man from housekeeping to clean it for me right away. I ended up calling the front desk when the sink continued to not drain A maintenance man came and triedto unclog it, but was unsuccessful. He told me the room next door had plumbing issues also, and that they thought the pipes were conected and causing the same issues in my room. They did move me to another room very quickly, and maintenance man was very helpful to help me move my stuff. But as soon as I got into the shower, I found that drain was clogged and water quickly became ankle deep. I called the fron desk and asked to be moved to a room on a different part of the hotel and different floor in hopes that the plumbing would be better. I was told no. Maintenance once again showed up to fix problem. Turned out to be a massive wad of hair causing the clog. Shower was better, but still very slow to drain. At that point I was beyond frustrated. My reservation were booked through a 3rd party and nonrefundable, so I have no choice but to stay and deal with the plumbing issues for 3 more days. I had to completely pack up all my stuff and unpack I into the new room at 9pm. Absolutely no compensation, discount, or even a complimentary snack was offered for my inconvenience at all. Hotel needs to address plumbing issues because it appears to be a much bigger problem then just a few rooms. And definitely make sure everything that can be done to insure guest safely is done. Especially making sure all exterior doors are locked to prevent non- guests from having access to enter. Definitely would not be my 1st choice of a hotel in the future
