It was a really good stay and we would come back!

We loved the atmosphere, the holiday dance party in Santa was great touch. The staff was very nice and accommodating . The room was OK and the waterpark is really fun, my girls enjoyed it and the arcade too!

I didn’t like the cashless only option. I must have missed that on the site, but they have a loadable debit card machine, which is convenient when it worked. Breakfast, I wish I was included with the room or one flat rate.

The food was cold I had to stand out side the fence an cut up my kids breakfast while my wife got the kids food me an my wife weren't hungry both had protein shakes for breakfast yet for my kids to go to the buffet she had to pay an didn't eat I refused an stood out side the fence an took care of my kids very rude way to treat people

Great waterpark, room could use improvements .

Waterpark was clean without overpowering chlorine smell. Kids under 10 really enjoyed it.

Room had 4 bunk beds and a king bed, but no dresser and no hooks to hang wet clothing or towels, except 4 hooks placed very oddly inside shower. Room air conditioning wasn’t on upon arrival, and entire room felt damp until the next morning using the air conditioner to dehumidify the space. Some of the TV channels didn’t work. Small desk and chair, but otherwise only place to sit was on your bed, or in an odd room that seemed to be for changing, but had no door or curtain for privacy. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice, the fridge and microwave worked fine.

It didn’t meet our expectations especially reading the reviews

I did like and appreciate the friendliness of the staff.

Our room AC was not working properly, it was really loud. The beds were not comfortable, our room had a mold smell to it. We had maintenance come out and try to fix the AC, but to no avail and he didn’t seem to care. All he said was sorry. The waterpark chlorine fumes burned out eyes

Will find somewhere else to stay.

The water park was great. Once the children spent most of the first day playing in the water, they didn't want to do that again. Also, the location was the best for dropping off and picking up. Staff was very pleasant and gave us clean towels when we asked.

Our room was small for three adults and two children. I paid extra for a sleeper chair and it was so lumpy and uncomfortable nobody slept in it. Our toilet had to wait 3 minutes between flushes. But the thing that really burned me up was I paid extra for late check out (1:00pm). Our key stopped working at 11:00. We had to keep asking the staff to let us in our room! If I pay for something that means you should of honored our room being open to us till1:00. It just seemed like you wanted us to pay for all these extra (sleeper chair and late check out) then didn't care about the customer as long as you got your money. Will find another hotel that cares about their customer satisfaction next time.

Castaway Bay is Fun, but we had a few issues.

The location is great being just near the entrance to Cedar Point Causeway. Staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. Nice views of sunset if you have water front rooms. The hotel was clean but is showing age in some spots.

The facilities were clean and the staff was very nice. We had a few issues however, firstly the water park was not fully staffed. So a full 1/3 of the park was closed including the large waterslides, which was disappointing for the kids. Secondly our shower was out of body wash. When we called the front desk asking for a refill they told us they were out of body wash... and that was it. No attempts were made at supplying guests with an alternative body wash or anything which I find to be a poor management decision. And lastly we booked a room with 2 queen size beds. I'm not sure who supplies the hotel with their beds but they are in no way queen size. My wife and I have a queen bed at home and have plenty of room available for if one of our kids wants to sleep next to us that night. But these beds are much smaller than a queen and I think may even be smaller than a Full Size. But what's worse is they are without a doubt the hardest and most uncomfortable beds from any hotel I have ever stayed in. Three points which didn't ruin our time but definitely detracted from it.

I will not be back. The lack of care to the hot tub and closed attractions.

My kids love the waterslides but some where closed for about 2 hours for both days we where there.

So when I check in using the affirm app they could use the that card that I used to book the trip so I essentially had to pay 2 times for the one accommodation. We stayed 3 days and never got fresh towels which was horrible. Half the attraction where closed during our stay as well. The hot tub was extremely discussing as well. I would have like to know that you couldn't process that payment time ahead of time and for the price more attractions should be open. The food was bad and the serves was very slow. We had to wait for each order we did nothing was ready. One of the sandwiches my son had was gray inside . We had to argue with the management to get something else,

well we booked a family room that would accomodate 5 in the room there were no couch or setting area other than the bed my wife lost her ear ring under bed when she looked under bed it was disgusting she left the ear ring also was disappointed of no condomint like free coffee in the morning or fast breakfast unless you paid for

The resort as a whole was amazing! My family really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved all the things the kids could do throughout the resort. That was very convenient, especially since kids are busy and hyper.

The prices of the food was too high considering what the food was. So we didn’t eat on the resort. We got outside food because it was more bang for our buck.

We liked the water park and the short distance to cedar point.

I rented 2 family rooms and they were both filthy. The staff wasn’t friendly at all. No luggage carts were available. The elevator was extremely dirty and navigating through the hotel was confusing.

the resort was so clean and the rooms were so comfortable and nice. So much for the kids to do and there were lots of lifeguards on duty which made us feel even safer.

we went bowling which is basically self explanatory but we didn't know there was a time limit between every turn so we lost out on 2 turns- we paid $30 to bowl 6 frames so that was very disappointing to the kids. When we were confused and asked the attendant she was rude and not helpful at all. That was disappointing but she was the only one in the whole facility that we found to be rude.

Wasn't happy with the check in, was at 4 we waiting almost 2 hours after check in time to actually get our keys. Also the rooms walls was very thin we had to call down twice for noise complaints! Our neighbors was extremely loud at night before bed and also woke us up at 4a.m with screaming and crying!
