Our 3yo enjoyed the mascots throughout the hotel and the arcade! The lobby also has plenty of tables so we congregated down their often.
Under staffed so part of the water park was not operating, arcade was said to open at 9a but didn’t until 10a. I wish the rooms were more spacious for socializing after hours.

The hot tub was closed both days of our stay and also a good bit of the water park. We were told it was due to maintenance on the hot tub and staffing issues. We came there on a family getaway for Christmas. I understand it’s the holidays, but with being a business and being open over the holidays, staffing issues should not be a concern.

Love how Castaway Bay decorates for Christmas.
Upgraded to a room with bunks and a king bed. It was nice - but lacked some basic things. Lamps for the bunks, any hooks to hang wet swimsuits and towels on, a coffee maker. The water park was crowded and areas were closed for no reason.

The food was cold I had to stand out side the fence an cut up my kids breakfast while my wife got the kids food me an my wife weren't hungry both had protein shakes for breakfast yet for my kids to go to the buffet she had to pay an didn't eat I refused an stood out side the fence an took care of my kids very rude way to treat people
