The warmth and comfort of the room and hotel is excellent - great bed for good sleep. Good coffee available in the morning and the staff is warm, caring and willing to do whatever we need.
The room was squeaky clean and comfy, has likely been renovated with good flooring etc. On the first morning we found the bathroom tub faucet/shower & drain did not work well. As soon as we told the front desk a staff person came and restored it to workable for the rest of our week's stay. We did realize that what that tub needed is for the plumbing to be redone/renovated/replaced which is a much more expensive fix. But given the relatively low price and the general excellence of the hotel for our needs, I understand it can't all be done.

The tub combo shower, heating system and kitchenette suite.
Staff gave a long speech to explain but they were only of her excuses and decided to make opinionated suggestions for me. I know that the hotel isn't the best but the customer is paying the rent even after discounts were applied before paying for the suite costs in person at this hotel. It's not the best but it's worth trying. I Booked this second trip to your E.S.A. hotel suite ahead of time. Everything should've been prepared as soon as I booked the hotel and before my arrival to the hotel suite. Unfortunately, the staffed service clerks were difficult to reason with as much as it was the same as the other clerk's attitude for the time I booked a suite for the first time. They all have an attitude problem directing the bad vibes to be with me to be argumentative but I'm a paying customer first due proper respect for political authority and of course I am a female yet human and spiritual being, knowing my own achievements as well to be a better individual and mother of two sons, while overcoming rape, abusive family ties, but as an adult survivor of assault and assassination attempts, domesticated abuse and battery, childhood kidnappings, false arrests more than once being held against my rights. Also, I found upon inspection that the suite hadn't been stocked with the advertised location of Skokie, IL Old Orchard facility advertised supplies of ironing board, cleaning toiletries, the coffee and tea maker, kitchenette pots and pans cookware, dishes and dish rack, dish cloths, flatware etc. and removal of the previous nasty dirty towels that were found in the kitchen cabinet.

It's not meant for romantic get away. It's meant for family and friends.

Room was comfortable, location was good.
Staff was nice enough, but they kept thinking I was staying for 1 night and my key cards stopped working each day. They said it was my fault for keeping it in my wallet and my credit cards messing with the strip, but I had it in a separate pocket. I had to call the front desk several times to let me into the building and request new keys.
Breakfast was a joke.
Facility was rundown, they were very adamant about me not smoking (I don't smoke) but then the hallways were filled with smoke and weed smell.
The room was spacious and comfy enough, but that's about it. There was a kitchenette which was nice, but no plates, utensils, or anything else that would make it usable. They broke the single most important rule of hotel stays, no coffee pot in the room.

It wasn’t very clear in general. Bath tub, carpet were the worse.

We were there last summer for a two week stay, it was comfortable & the staff was great so we returned for 4 nights, again to visit family. It's simple and clean reminding me of a modest European hotel - no frills but a lot of comfort. The bed, pillows and even the sheets were perfect for good sleep. Their coffee in the AM is notably good and the price is right. Great laundry facilities, very useful to have. We'll return.
No complaints at all, and BTW very clean.!

Nobody smoking that I could smell.
Ana for checkout listened to my input and was very helpful!
Rude front desk female Friday and Saturday evening. She glared out me multiple times during my stay coming and going each time. She would yell at people to pull a door closed that was not completely closing on its own. She yelled at me to close it and said why not fix it. After that I was her enemy.

The price was good and the ability to check in at a late time after 3:00 p.m. was good

While realizing it wasn’t a conventional hotel, we did miss having a coffee pot and cups in the morning.

I liked how the front desk helped me get a broom to clean my own room that I paid $220 for. I liked the nice lady down at the desk at check-out who told me to call a number on the back of a card to explain how filthy the room was.
Everything except the staff. I feel bad, because I know paying people & finding a good maid service is challenging.

The location
The place was below my standards. Front desk area was untidy. I'd say a 1 star

The location is a good location. The price is reasonable for that market. The property was not unclean -- so fair!. The parking lot is safe, well lit. Staff, although minimal, are okay. It is a bare bones operation, it is a bare bones facility with a coat of paint and a mop.
The hallways and room were reasonably clean. They had been vacuumed, they were not dirty.
Basics in terms of attention to detail was missing: No toilet paper, nothing (i mean nothing) in the bathroom or the cabinets in an extended stay "suites" place -- not even a paper cup to drink water out of the tap, a coffeemaker, or a bottle of water that can be purchased in Kroger for $2.99 for 12.
Not having toilet paper in the bathroom on the evening I checked in was not a good sign. No lotion, there was one bar of soap.
The property could use some TLC -- the kitchen stove range was old -- thank god I did not have to use it. I guess they will rent you or give you cups and pans if you went and asked downstairs. I did not care, I was there only to sleep two nights.
