For me, the location was perfect for everything I wanted to do in Chicago. The room was extremely nice. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly at the checkin desk.
The only downside for me-I was not able to take the warm cookies because I am allergic to walnuts. A suggestion might be to have non-nut cookies available, but that is a minor thing.
All in all, I give the Double Tree a two thumbs up!

There were old cookies in our room that who knows how long they were there.. They were not ours as they were under the the head of one of the beds and are probably still there as we didn't touch them.

Clean, safe and comfortable. Pool has outside 6ft section that is nice for adults as it's away from the smaller kids depth. Snacks are $6 for a coke so definitely stop by the nearby grocery store. Nice shopping and dining within walking distance.

It met our expectations overall, including the clean room, the breakfast (very complete) parking, and especially the very friendly, attentive staff.
