The breakfast was fine just basic and if we didn't have some creepy worker man staring at us through a door that works there it would have even been even better. Literally stared at us from the time that we started making our breakfast until we sit down to eat our breakfast.
I didn't like that the pictures of the hotel itself online are misleading it's very outdated it's not a nice hotel. Then you got the big problem it's roach infested. The hotel staff is not friendly or helpful. The only thing good about this hotel is the location and I will be contacting the better Business bureau to let them know about the roach infestation..

The rooms are clean. Staff are always the friendliest. I have stayed here a few times.
It advertised a heated indoor pool. All 3 times I have been here in winter. No pool. A pool but no filter is working and cloudy. NOT to mention that all 4 doors outside were propped open making the room freezing. It's currently dropping in 30s at night. One main reason I stayed there was the pool.

The location was in a decent spot, not far away from food.
During our 2 night stay, we switched rooms THREE times due to a few reasons.
Day 1: While sleeping you can hear running upstairs, and downstairs (right outside of our door) it sounded of yelling and laughter from 11pm to around 2-3 am. My husband and I both had to keep popping up out of our sleep just to peek outside to see what was going on. Next morning, we asked for a different room to see if maybe it was just the room placement.
Day 2: Once we moved to the second room, we could see gnats. We only had one night left, so we just kept killing them as we saw them. We go out for the day, and come back at night. Upon arriving back in our room, I saw a roach run from under the bed. Once my husband confirmed that that’s exactly what it was, we instantly packed up and went to front desk asking if we can get a refund. He told us there was nothing he could do, but offered ANOTHER room change. Mind you it’s 11pm and we hit the road the next morning so we just said okay in hopes that it’d get better and needed the rest. We stayed up talking a bit, and around 1am I saw something scurry across the floor in my peripheral. As I go to put my shoe on to see what it was, there was another ROACH by my shoe! I couldn’t even get a picture in time because it scurried off quickly. My husband quickly got up, and packed up our belongings for the THIRD time and headed down to the front desk. The lady replied “We’ve never had those problems”. and we had to demand a refund. She walked away while we were mid sentence, and another woman who was there was checking in, asked if there was an insect problem before she swiped her card. The worker denied it and ran her information through ANYWAY. The woman requested she wanted to then look at the room, and the worker proceeded to say “this has never been an issue”. However, after reading these reviews that is absolutely NOT true. Gnats are tolerable, annoying? But roaches are a big deal, especially for someone who does not live that way.

Disappointing stay in Knoxville
The sheets and bathrooms were clean
The floors were filthy. Walking barefoot in the room turned our feet black quickly. We also went to get bedding for the pull out couch (nothing in the room except 1 extra pillow) and the front desk guy acted very dismissive of our request. Strong smell of .... something in the room, and a heavy weed smell around the parking lots

The room was large enough and bright enough with beds that were decent. The ac worked well.
The toilet seat in 143 would move around. They had the bolt heads instead of wing nuts so I couldn't try to tighten it up. I didn't have wrenches with me. You could of weather stripped the exterior door because you can see some daylight. Friday night there were kids overhead running around till fairly late. Saturday night was peaceful

Had an emergency booking Saturday night. Upon arrival we were told by the sour puss clerk to pay $200 cash deposit, which we didn't have. We could pay with card that would result in a 7 day hold
This is unreasonable and extortion. We left and got charged $85 for the room. This is terrible way to do business. I was shut out, I did not cancel.
