The breakfast was satisfactory. The hotel was located in a prime area near food establishments, and grocery store with gas station.
Thermostat was never repaired ( however, I was offered a stand along rotating heater which took the chill out of the room) . The day of checkout the elevators were not working and had to use the stairs.

It had air conditioning.
1. My room was guaranteed to be ready at 3:00. The employee at the check-in counter suggested we sit and wait in the lobby. In the meantime, she began checking in two other guests who arrived after we did. It was 4:00 before we were given our room, which was not on the top floor, as requested.
2. Our room shared an adjoining door with the next room; THE DEADBOLT WAS BROKEN. If the person next door had chosen to enter our room, the door only needed a gentle push. We barricaded the door with furniture.
3. The elevators on the first floor was missing the UP button; as in, there was a hole in the wall where the button should have been. Guests simply had to wait until someone upstairs rode the elevators down.
4. The paint on the bathtub was visibly peeling in large patches. Very unappealing.
5. We were in a "handicapped" but the bathtub wasn't a walk-in. I've had a hip replacement and can't lift my leg very high, making it dangerous to get in and out of a typical bathtub.
6. The mattress was unreasonably soft.
7. The walls were paper thin. We could hear someone in their room singing at the top of his voice.
8. In the area over the microwave and mini-fridge, there was no lightbulb in the socket that was intended to illuminate that area.
