    We were making a cross-country drive and were looking forward to staying in the very walkable French Quarter. We had questions about parking, as that can be inconvenient and expensive in the FQ. We started calling from New Mexico, and called every hour, on the hour from the Texas Panhandle through Arkansas and well into LA. We could only ever get a human voice recording that would pass us off to a computerized voice that would tell us to push a button to leave a message and then hang up immediately before we could say anything. We called dozens of times during normal business hours. It was incredibly frustrating. We ended up abandoning our booking and getting a different hotel that had parking included and answered their phone.

    They clean their floors which is a plus. I caught housekeeping in the act! There's coffee from 6am to noon. If you want to add a night, they will if the room is open to reoccupy.

    Rooms r small and bathroom even smaller. It's 130 years old so it's what one would expect except bathroom was awful. Tiney, no water pressure in sink, mirror fell off when I tried to wipe steam off, water leaking under the sink so toilet paper under it was gross and shower current was to small and water went onto floor if u didn't have the curtain just right. Otherwise I loved the location and historical value and maybe other bathroom r better. We had a space heater beside our bed which I didn't care but could bother others. Only valet parking 50 bucks night. Location awesome.
