We loved the beautiful setting! We loved being in a small, homey place! It was cozy and quirky and interesting, which we loved! It was lucky that Mars was on site when we arrievd, to welcome us and help us find our room. Mars was a great communicator in advance of our stay, and provided many thoughtful, lovely touches in the room. It's a special place!
Arriving on the road FROM Sequoia National Park, it's impossible to see the place, as there's no sign or mailbox, so it's easy to blow right past. We saw the sign from the other side, and turned around and parked. If Mars hadn't been there, it would have taken a while to figure out how to find our room. More clear written directions and something visible from the road coming from the north would help. There were plentiful linens in the room, but the towels were pretty dingy.
