The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

The views outside the hotel were totally amazing!

It's just a simple, no-frills countryside motel.
Great shower head – European style.
Compared with the other, more expensive motels in the area, the place is fairly good value for money. The price is better than most. You're simply paying for its close proximity to Sequoia National Park.
There is an amazing recreational area with a huge lake close to the hotel. Just a few minutes' drive away is Sunset Point, a beautiful place to watch the sunset.

Negatives
Low water pressure. The water barely ran in either the sink or the shower.
The toilet board was askew and could not be fixed.
There were stains on the chairs.
There is no lift, just stairs to the upper floor.
The AC was outdated and very noisy; we could not use it at night.
There were flies in the room when we arrived.

The location is great and the accommodations were pretty good too. Nice and friendly. The only suggestion we can make for improvement is…. the water keeps going back and forth, from hot to cold, and cold to hot. It does not stay warm for more than 10-15 seconds. What helped was to change the shower head flow to a rain shower-like setting. Other than that, we would stay again!

Don't stay here unless you have no other option. Location is great but the room was filthy, I have a video of a cockroach running around in my room. Water pressure is poor and it takes a solid 5 minutes for warm water to start flowing.
