Bed was comfortable and nice fridge area but the showers were dated and not as well maintained

Location and room size.

One bed was half made and the bathroom was not clean, there were flies in the room and the breakfast area. The bathroom had a weird smell. TV did not work at first, but the lady at the front desk was able to fix it so we could watch some tv, but we couldn’t se the regular channels.

Won't be staying there ever again.

Comfortable

Renovations in progress on 1st and 2nd floors. No parking, had to climb 3 sets of stairs (elevator broke),and we are elderly, ice machine on first floor ( broken ice machines on 2nd and 3rd floor) and no shower curtain. We had to go downstairs to get one. It would've been nice to know these things before reserving. Definitely no worth the $145.00 for such a convenience. From now on I will be contacting the hotel first to ensure I am informed.

They tried to make me pay after already paying booking.com. when I finally got to the room it wasn't ready. They are still trying to charge my card after 3 days!

Breakfast was great, the biscuits and blueberry waffles were fabulous.

There was a drop of something that looked like blood on the sheets. There was dirt or smudges on the wall above the bed, as well as brown smudges along the wall in the bathroom. The carpet in the hallway seemed new but in the middle of installation—edges leaning up against the wall. The TV remote wouldn’t work from the beds, had to walk up to the TV and aim it behind it to work. The door knob lock assembly was hanging loose and likely may have broken off with a hard tug.

Great Value for Family of 6, High quality staff, Indoor Pool, Good Breakfast, 4 Restaurants nearby

As of May 2025, the staff has clearly been trained or hired due to their upbeat, positive personalities. I expect such service at the front desk but we received friendly comments from cleaning staff, staff we met outside, breakfast staff etc. Breakfast was 'real' (eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, coffee, waffles). Rooms were clean and hotel seems to be completing some kind of renovation. Small indoor pool as well. Good location with several restaurants in the front parking lot (Cracker Barrel, Panda Express, Mexican restaurant, Mediterranean Restaurant). We are a family of 6 who was just stopping in for an overnight during a long drive. Often to stay on budget (prefer $125-$150 a night) we have to get two cheap rooms at a crummy place with a terrible breakfast....but this hotel had a single room with 2 full queen beds and a fold out couch that fit us all comfortably and had a nice breakfast all within our price range. If I was going to stay longer term, I would definitely consider this hotel based on what we experienced in the one night we were there. Very pleasant surprise. Kudos to the staff in particular...and that is a reflection of management.

As of May 2025, if a really good gym is important to you in the hotel you pick then this hotel would not be for you. It has a gym but it is very basic with 1 treadmill and a very basic weight machine.

The door in our room had the slide bar torn off. Several doors to rooms had serious marks on them.

When the lady at the front desk checked us in she would never look at us. It was very uncomfortable situation.

Close to Cracker Barrel

Could not reach it from the highway. All exits were closed and when I called asking how to get there, the clerk did not have a clue. We had to go 7 miles to Exit 213 before we could even get off Interstate 30. You’d think the clerk would be aware of closed exits.

No electric chargers, night clerk wasn’t very nice, didn’t feel safe.

We booked online and it said the hotel had electric chargers. It doesn’t have electric chargers.

The side parking lot ( where we parked) had mattresses thrown all over the area, old furniture everywhere, nothing organized, just thrown everywhere. There were people rummaging through the stuff. It doctor like a safe area (although the hotel was in a nice area). No hot water from the sink in the room and the shower/tub drained very slowly (standing in water while showering and about 10-15 minutes afterward).

It's not the hotel, I like staying at Comfort Suites, It's the location... Unless you know your way around Texarkana, Texas, this hotel is difficult to get to with out going around in circles. Miss one turn and you go miles out of your way to get back to it.

The staff were lovely and friendly

We didn't know in advance that the pool was not able to be used due to renovations. There was a deal with another hotel to use their pool - but it was also broken and not heated so my husband found it too cold to swim. I would prefer being advised that amenities are out in advance so we can make other plans since I booked especially for the pool. We were in a room next to the reception, breakfast area and ice machine, so it was a little noisy.

The lady at the front desk Tamara was so sweet .. was upset the pool wasn't open. That was the main reason we stayed there. The laundry room was not open either. .. the breakfast was Good tho.

The pool was not open the laundry room was not open. The 3rd floor vending and ice machine was not open.. the shower blew the curtain open and kept getting water on the floor every time. So I slipped every time someone took a shower..
