Location was excellent
Several things in the room needed fixing. Investing a little time and money to fix up the room would make it so much better.

The price was economical. The location was excellent. The bed and bedding were fine. The water in the shower was hot. There was a little coffee maker for beverages to get us started in the morning. There was also a mini fridge which we appreciated. The young man at check in who was on live video was very polite and helpful. I appreciated his patience while i tried to check in.
I could have done without the two little cockroaches in the bathroom. Thankfully they stayed there. The little table and two chairs in the room need to be upgraded. Perhaps they were for the roaches? The two little shelves mounted on the wall next to the head of the bed need to be upgraded. Check in was a trial for me because I am hard of hearing and the check in process included a person on video. He was not on site. After a lot of confusion on my part, he was able to help me by typing out the information that I needed to check in over the screen. I appreciated his help. The owners of this establishment should not assume that their guests are tech savvy or able to hear easily.

I had a horrible experience here as a solo female traveler while checking in late yesterday. The employee who was working remote on screen to assist with check in named “Peter” was making inappropriate comments, flirting, and continually persisting to make advances.
The rooms are operated by a code, given by him, honestly making me feel concerned about safety which is absolutely unacceptable. I love the Sedona area and will never stay here again.

Location, quiet.
Front desk outsourced to a different country, no staff present to help. Kiosk check in is wack.

This is the only place where staff did not start banging on your door at 8:00 am so they can clean your room - so thank you for that! The beds were comfy enought for us to rest up and recharge for our outdoor adventures.
the bathrooms smelt a little musky but not a huge deal at all. Waiting for our text to come in for our room code, the time it took made me panic a bit but for future stayers - it will take about 15 minutes for you to receive.

Decent value
Bed was decent. Overall just unimpressed. Upstairs room sounds like they are going to crash through the ceiling.

At first we liked the cheap price, but soon found out why it was cheap.
They told us there was no breakfast, the hot tub was cold, we had a lot of trouble with the kiosk, shower water did not get hot, bed was completely saggy in the middle like a hammock, and our passcode locked us out an hour before check out time and we had to find housekeeping to let us in because the kiosk workers who were in a different country couldn’t figure out how to un-mute us, overall an incredibly eventful stay to say it in a nice way. Won’t be coming back to this hotel at all.

I usually believe you get what you pay for, but my stay at the Baby Quail Inn wasn’t worth even the lower price. We booked two nights, and on the first morning we were startled awake at 10:30 a.m. by guests repeatedly trying to enter our room. I heard them confirm our room number at the door, and they continued attempting to come in until I yelled that the room was occupied. Because the door uses only a keypad lock, this left us feeling unsafe. I wasn’t sure whether they had been given our code, and it raised real concerns about our belongings being accessible if we had stepped out.
I called management, who explained that the virtual receptionist had assigned our room to those guests, though the code supposedly wasn’t valid. While on the phone, I asked for housekeeping to refill our toiletries and was told it would be handled. Ten hours later, nothing had been replenished, and management was extremely slow to respond when I followed up.
The condition of the restroom added to the discomfort. There was no sink drain cover, and something that looked like gum was visible in the drain. The tub also backed up and flooded with each shower.
Overall, the experience was disappointing and felt unsafe. I would not return and strongly recommend paying a little more for a better, more reliable hotel when visiting Sedona.

Location
The mattresses were awful- I did not get a good night’s rest. The room didn’t feel clean.
4.0 / 10.0
I thought the room was okay, and that the beds were clean.
I did not like how the bathrooms smelled like urine, the curtains and rods in the bathroom are rusted and stained. It was very hard to sleep every night because from 12 am - 2 am the people above us were stomping.

this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms smelled like weed, were dirty and felt very unsafe

The parking lot seemed to have a reasonable amount of parking.
It is clear that the owners/operators put no energy or money into wanting to create any sort of guest experience. The place is clean, or at least the overpowering smell of cleaning supplies might lead the mind to believe it is. The rooms are fitted with old mattresses, with linens, and sad saggy pillows. The entry doors have paint spots that need to be touched up and disheveled/old front door rugs. The outdoor seating is dusty, rusty and pillows missing or displaced. The hot tub- not hot at all. Yet they don’t bother to inform you of this.

The property has potential.
The check in was with a disinterested person on a video screen. The room number printed was 3 A and I was told it was on the diagram next to the video kiosk, the had a 3 K not a 3 A and I mentioned this to the extremely bored man on the video and he repeated 3A which there wasn’t a 3A or a 3K so I checked and found a room 3 and I sat on the bed and it was broken, it was extremely soft and I checked the center and it sank as if boards were broken underneath. I went back to the video room and he said they didn’t have a room and I asked about a refund and he said I should contact booking . Com which I tried and had trouble finding a contact number or email. The video guy could not have been less helpful. Insane how bad the service was.

No breakfast at location
Table in room was dirty with a sticky substance not cleaned off. Window curtain hung onto the bed. It was too long. Other window curtían covered air condition vent. Again too long for window size.

Adorable & quaint. Very clean & quiet. Nice staff. I will return.

The room was clean and was, for the most part, what we expected.
The bed had a very deep sag in the middle. It needs to be replaced. As a senior, I found contactless entry to be hard to figure out. We did manage, but I prefer a person in site to make sure all is well.

Apart from the location, the ice machine and the ease of parking, can’t thinks of anything else we liked.
The smell in the room was unbearable
Nobody answers your messages
Unsure if the room was cleaned before we got there
The hot tub was closed for sanitary reasons
Paper thin walls
No plugs next to the bed to charge devices
Checked the price on the day and the room we paid for and it was half price (!!)

Location, simplicity, roses, price
Didnt encounter any staff. Flood lights on and off throughout the night as people came and went with no way to block out the light.
Couple next to me fighting very loudly throughout the night and next morning- sound as of they were in my room.

The property location was great and it was just what you needed after hiking.
The bed was so saggy it sucked you right into the middle of it

I was excited to stay there because location was perfect after camping for 2 days and hiking. Staff was completely horrible and unprofessional. Management hung up on me when I called for help with my stay and told me don’t piss her off. They also questioned my service animal for my autistic and non verbal child. If I could have left and got my money back I would have.
Facility was dirty. Hotel cleaning staff were on their phones sitting in the bed when they were supposed to be cleaning. They weren’t even dressed for work they were wearing their pajamas

The room was large, and the bathroom was huge with a large shower! The location was perfect, and the views in the area.
Getting ahold of the property manager, she was rude and seemed like she had a tone when communicating to us because we did not receive the text message with information on the room. The room had spiders on the ceiling, but my spouse was able to take care of those. The Roku remote wasn't working properly, we had to hit it in order for it to work. Besides these issues, we enjoyed our trip.

It's a budget hotel at a competitive price. The parking is close to the rooms and therefore convenient for cyclists with bikes and equipment. Plus, the hotel is a few hundred feet off the main Hwy. (89) and thus fairly quiet. And lots of good restaurants within walking distance.

Location
The hot tub was not only closed, but according to official signage it has been shut down since March by the County’s Health Services. The ad advertises a hot tub and doesn’t mention this. No response from property to request for refund.

Location of the hotel is fine. It was good to have WIFI and that worked well. The TV worked well.
It was cumbersome and took way too long to receive the room# and door code after I paid for the room online. I had to make 3 phone calls before I was able to receive a text with the entrance code info. The room was ridiculously small. The mattress was completely unacceptable - there was no support, there were places where springs were jabbing my body and I was unable to sleep the entire night. The microwave was ridiculously small, dirty and smelled horribly so I was unable to heat up my dinner. There was no complementary breakfast, no staff on site. There was only one hand towel in the bathroom even though I clearly checked in that there were two guests. The room was not worth $150 per night - it was no better than a roadside strip motel.
