The condition of the rooms and facilities was worse than I could have imagined and the hotel website photos must have taken a long time ago. The room had a dusty cobweb hanging above the bed. We had noisy boaters partying right outside our room in the marina & could hear the people in the room next to us as if we were in the same room. The building we were in was across a large hilly parking lot from the building with the indoor pool. The pool area had piles of trash on the chairs and broken tiles. The front desk staff was rude from when I walked in the door. There was another employee who was very helpful to another guest and that’s the only good thing I can say about Bonnie Castle. I did not feel welcome at all and questioned the safety of the room. We chose to leave & go elsewhere even though we had small kids and it was late.

This “resort” is unbelievably outdated and the way it’s presented on the internet is misleading. The rooms have actual metal keys that don’t work , the hallways smell like mildew and the paint on the walls are cracked everywhere .
