it was close to where the wedding was, they were trying to help fine a room for the wife and daughters.

didn't have our reservation that was booked back in February 11, 2025. they were full when the wife and daughters got there, they had to wait for a call in cancelation. but they did find a room for them, the wife had to pay with credit card and Booking.com said they booked the room and booking .com said they have paid the hotel already plus we got charged again.

It was very inviting inside and looked better than some of the other big name hotels. The customer service was great and the staff was very friendly and professional. It felt and looked very clean inside and the continental breakfast hit the spot.

The pillows were uncomfortable and caused neck pain. The armoire was hindering because of its size and placement so close to the bed. I can tell this hotel wants to stand above the rest, but there needs to be more attention to detail if that's the case. Additionally, there is a lot of echo in the hallway when trying to rest. Im not sure how to address that, but was very noticeable.

The main thing that I liked was the bed, pillows and A/C. Very comfortable- slept well.

It is in rough shape. When you walk into the entrance, it was hot and in need of updating, paint, etc. I wasn't feeling very confident about my choice of hotel upon arrival. The room didn't feel very clean because of how beaten up the walls and trim were. I had to ask for a blanket because the bed had a top sheet and then what seemed like just another textured sheet on top but no comforter or blanket on the bed or anywhere in the room. Pretty odd. It was really hard to turn the deadbolt on my door to lock it and especially concerning if I should need to get out in a hurry. I don't feel like an older person would be able to even turn it at all. Pretty scary.

Right off the freeway and Anya at the front desk was amazing! She was very friendly while being professional. Checking in my pup was a breeze and lots of spots to take her outside. They have updated outlets which was AMAZING! The property is a bit outdated but still very nice, clean and comfortable. Great value and would stay again!

I booked on bookings.com for 2 queen beds. They upgraded us to a king and pull-out couch. I was very upset since because we needed 2 queen beds.

Included breakfast, room was spacey, acceptable. Big armoire for hanging clothes. Big TV, A nice desk for laptop. Big windows for the beautiful view. A Livingroom with fireplace in the middle of the building was nice to hang out with family and friends. We were not there for the room, but when we were, it was very comfortable.

Hall to the room smelt like raw sewage. Floor was not perfectly clean. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

I was visiting Rocklin for a family gathering and this was easy and convenient. The hotel was able to accommodate an early check-in which I was grateful for. It offered the typical hotel continental breakfast with waffles, pastries, eggs, meat and other breakfast options. I appreciated the coffee machine. The rooms were a decent size for 3 adults.

I traveled with my 2 adult daughters but there were only 2 sets of towels in the room. When we asked for a 3rd set of towels were were told that they were out of towels. That was a little disappointing. Other than that and flipping a coin to see who drys off with the small hand towel, it was a comfortable stay. The television was wonky and at one point all the visual went out.

Our confirmation was never received and we were unable to stay. Even after showing proof of emails from both the hotel and Booking com - all I was told was sorry... You can try to contact them (Booking com). Forced the pay for other lodging since we were in town for an event.

I very much liked the cleanliness of our room and facilities. Problem was not providing us enough shower towels, only for two although we had reservations for three, poor preparation of our room.

As above, lack of room preparation for three people. Plus there wasn’t any backup inventory of shower towels, poor management.

A gal named Tabitha is an incredible person! She took this absolutely horrible experience and turned it around as best she could.

I booked a room for two nights and when I went to the office to make a copy, I noticed a suitcase in the office that looked like mine. I mentioned that it looked like mine. They had gathered all my personal items. Sprayed my hair spray on everything in my suitcase, lost my pillow. Checked me out of my room, without even calling me! I was in the building. I'm appalled at how I was treated.

Had to sleep on the exercise room floor the first night due to the loud music coming from the events center which shares a wall with the room.. The phone in the room did not work so had to walk to the front desk contstantly. The staff was not helpful or communcative about options for the loud music or offering alternatives.

We were given the incorrect room due to a double booking and we were charged in full again even though we prepaid. Still waiting for a refund 2 days later.

There were bed bugs everywhere in my room! I was charged almost $200 for a room with bed bugs!! i only stayed for a couple of hours, until i discovered the bugs. Upon departure, i asked for a refund and told the staff about what I found. One staff member KNEW about it, and when i asked for a refund, I was told to call in a few hours when the manager got in. I did. The lady that answered the phone said that they do not have a manager at all. I explained the situation, and she said that she was going to inspect the room, and to call back in an hour. I waited an hour, called back, and the phone just rang and rang. Nobody answered the phone and there was no answering machine to leave a message. I called this place 5 more times throughout the day and same thing - no answer! I guess they didn’t want to give me a refund or something…VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would strongly discourage anybody from staying here, unless you like bed bugs and overpriced hotel rooms.

Buckle up for this long review. Here is what I wrote the gm and was told to wait 7 days for response and nothing. No answer of toll free numbers, lobby, or email. The phone eventually hang ups. I booked a room with 2 queen beds and a balcony for June 6th to June 9th. I checked in around 530am on the 7th after a 16hr drive. It took 20 minutes for anyone to answer the phone since no one was at the front desk. I was checked into a room with my kids and husband I believe 204. We needed sleep, and we're there for a family emergency my sister was in icu and on life support. We got into the room and instantly noticed all the horrible things. Our toilet had pee and toilet paper in my not flushed someone used it and left it. Our tub had public hair in it. The floors were so dirty they were sticky and you can physically see multiple shoe prints all over. The beds were filthy sheets pillows and blankets all stained. Every table and counter top was sticky and dirty. There was food all over places. The mirrors with paint above the beds were so gross you can see a attempt to clean a spot in the center then stopped. There is so much residue on the mirrors they dried leaking down. The ac was clogged with so much dust fuzz. Went downstairs to find someone to complain no one was there so we needed to sleep a few hours and as we were sleeping, someone attempted to come in our room twice around 11am and 12. Since we had the safety top lock they couldn't open the door all the way I got up to go see while trying not to wake my little ones and they were gone. We got up and got ready to see my sister in icu, as we did so my kids feet and legs were black black. I used a wipe to test the floor and the filth that came off of it was insane. I used a entered pack of baby wipes to mop the floor as best as I could, as I did my 2 yro was bringing me popped lighter parts that were found all over. Along with hair and trash.

The floor was sticky throughout, all soap containers attached to the shower wall were empty, two large stains were on one bath towel, the outlet near the bed did not work, loose fixtures, multiple chips, and worn areas on the hall mirror. We changed rooms the next day.

Got into my King suite and there was dirt and trash on the floor. Looks very dusty like it wasn’t cleaned in a while. Asked the front desk can someone come clean it she said she would , came back to my suite and the dirty dust and trash was still there. Pulled back the covers and sheets and the bed had soooo much crumbs and dirt.

45 mind to check in. Had to go to atm to get cash gor deposit. Dirty air vemts that did not work. Empty shower gel containers. Hair in showers. Very upset will not go back

the rooms were dirty. my wife is a maid at thunder valley. this hotel the rooms are really dirty. ketchup stains on the vinyl flooring. Dirt in all the corners closet really dirty bathroom dirty no water pressure no coffee makers in rooms continental breakfast was the worst continental breakfast I’ve ever had I stay in hotels Monday through Friday through work and this one is by far the worst one I’ve ever been in my whole life.
