Quite and clean , good communication !

Great location for proximity to Occidental College.

Shower tile/grout looked old but water was great. No bedside lamp.

It was near restaurants and Trader Joe’s and safe neighborhood

The beds are the most uncomfortable and the pillows are the thinnest I’ve ever seen it was extremely uncomfortable and the room what’s not as clean as I would hope.

if you are looking for a place to stay in convenient location, this is the spot. It felt safe and definitely good value. With that being said, beds are very firm, parking is small (it's a smaller property) so if you arrive late, it will be harder to secure a spot, and finally if you are on the left wing of the property there's a business right next door (it sounds like it's a car wash) that gets pretty loud early on. If you are a light sleeper, definitely be aware of that and try to request a room on the right side.

I liked that we had free parking and friendly staff. I liked the amenities (tv, fridge, microwave). Water temperature was great, all plumbing worked as needed. Shower tiles/niche were nice.

The road noise made it extremely hard to sleep. We also heard a lot of noise from other guests coming in. The door and walls don’t have a lot of sound insulation, so everything outside of the room was loud. There were also stains on the sheets. The shower curtain also looked dirty and took up a lot of space while I was showering. I’m a petite person (125 lbs, 63 inches tall), but I couldn’t shower without the shower curtain touching/sticking to me. The curtains also don’t block out light, so the parking lot lighting came into the room while we were sleeping.

Staff was polite and welcoming, very accommodating as I had accidentally booked smoking but preferred non-smoking room. This is a quaint little motor lodge straight out of the 50s, right down to the physical key on a diamond shaped keychain just like I remembered as a kid. What we loved best was that even though it was right on a busy street with a school right across the road it was quite quiet. We felt safe and appreciated that it was affordable. Great location for us after our evening at the Hollywood Bowl, less than 30 minutes away. The entire room was clean and had that freshly cleaned smell to it as we entered.

Our room could have used a few updates for example the shower curtain had mold or stains midway down, the tub while functional could use a resurfacing of new enamel or replacement all together as it looked like it was original to the property. The bathroom door, doorframe and medicine cabinet could use a little touch up paint due to chips where there was exposed wood, but nothing that would make me not stay there again. I do wish the mattress was a tad bit softer (personal preference really) as the pressure points on my hips would get sore but again not any thing that would keep me from staying again, I just rolled over and was good for a few more hours of sleep. Overall these are all minor things really, I have stayed in name brand hotels and paid more per night for rooms that were no where as nice as this place, maybe bigger but not as nice. Just remember you are in a Motel and as motels go, one of the better ones out there in my opinion.

The internet service was really bad.the AC didn't work too well and was really noisy.

Nicely kept place, friendly staff, all rooms have fridge and microwave.

Rooms are quite small. The carwash next dot is a lot on the noisy side and sucks water pressure out of the showers. The AC blows directly on you, no outlet near computer table. Strange.. in opinion over priced.
