Comfortable, quiet and very well located.

Great location and large room. Being in the middle of Glendale was really handy to everywhere. This hotel is quiet and is very comfortable and I would recommend it.

The check in process through a terminal and a remote employee (or AI, I was not sure) was a little weird and it would have been nice to have a real person to speak with.

The pictures and description on the hotel’s website are so far from accurate that it should be a crime. Outdated and overpriced. I should have paid more attention to the two stars. Check in was by kiosk with no live receptionist. Horrible! Couldn't watch the college game when we arrived because the TV needed pairing and the tech was shared by multiple hotels. Don’t know if he ever showed up. It was going to be a couple of hours so we headed to a sports bar. Shouldn’t someone check for pairing before arrival?

This was a great experience for the price we paid!

The common areas were very pleasant, the room was great, very clean, and for the price having a microwave oven and frisge, awasome!! Belive me, on our next trip to USA we'll book again in Glendale Hotel. The location is a plus!

It wasn't cleaned properly. Also they don't have a real front desk person, it's a kiosk. I don't remember seeing that mentioned anywhere otherwise I wouldn't have book just based on that.

Left after one night. Dirty. Smelly. And awful staff that speak only via an iPad on a stand.

The location was good. That was the ONLY thing that was good.

The place looks nice from outside, but once you're in, it gets bad. It starts with $15 per vehicle per night parking, which none of the nearby properties charged. Then inside, the only staff you can speak with is on something akin to an iPad in the former boarded up (but 'decorated' with plastic foliage') reception. There's only one, so you have to queue up to speak to a person on a small screen somewhere presumably off-site. We had issues getting checked in, and the lack of being in-person made things MUCH worse. Completely unhelpful, especially considering we'd been travelling for about 20 hours. We finally got to our room, having to go via the abysmally-smelling corridor and elevator that looks like any better days it once might have seen have disappeared into history. Bad. Then we got to our equally-gross smelling room (which is a MOTEL room, not a HOTEL room) - a room with orange-brown carpets that, despite being large with a (wasted) living room, it was not a nice place to stay. The bed was uncomfortable and the air-con was so loud. We managed just one night before checking out first thing the next morning, and staying at a FAR nicer (and cheaper!) motel just across the road. I wouldn't stay here again if I was paid to.

Impossible to Sleep — No Soundproofing at All

1 Star We booked a room at the Glendale Hotel for one night after a long drive, hoping to get some rest — but it was absolutely impossible to sleep. The noise level in this hotel is unbelievable. You can hear everything — people in the next room talking, opening wardrobes and nightstands, and even footsteps in the hallway. Around 2 a.m., guests arrived in the room above us, and every single step they took made the floor creak so loudly it sounded like they were right in our room. The soundproofing (if there is any at all) is completely nonexistent. This hotel seems to be built with thin wooden walls and floors, offering zero noise insulation. It was one of the worst nights we’ve ever had at a hotel. Definitely not a place to stay if you actually want to sleep.

Won’t say didn’t like, but have stayed here twice since the hotel switched to an offsite check in process. It’s somewhat impersonal, but if the tradeoff is all the other things at the expense of a more personal touch; it works for me. Ah, one downside to no one on the property is that I prefer to leave a tip for maid service and could not as all I had was a $50 & $100.

The couch in the room was absolutely filthy. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned as we found a pile of truly disgusting clothes, including used underwear, in the closet.

Stay away from Glendale Hotel!!!!!!

We will not forget how you refused to refund us the parking fee after we asked you to cancel the parking fees for 5 days. The manager lied and said he saw our car parked in the cameras, even though we always parked on the street. So for only 75$ to lie and behave like thieves, shame on you

Staff was very nice. Nice updates to the bathroom. AC worked well in the room but was left off before I arrived so when I got in at 10pm to sleep in was crazy hot. check in and out was easy. fun 25/7 coffee and fizzy water machine.

Smell. That old carpet smell that is trying to be covered up by an air freshener. The property should tear out the carpet in the rooms at least and replace with tiles. Easier to clean and not smell. Also use charcoal or hepa filters and de-oderizors not air fresheners that just add more smells. My sinuses were so stuffed up after staying here.

my room was dirty, there was no person to talk to. I asked a maid to clean the room and see if it was possible to change a room. She said she would talk to someone, but no one replied. I was forced to stay in a room that smelled rancid. When speaking to the virtual assistant, I was ignored.

Prepare for sleep deprivation

Spacious, easy checkin and out.

Parking was $15/night There was a bright light outsde my room and the curtains could not be closed, so the room weas illuminated all night long. I normally sleep in a pitchdark room, so I basically slept in 1 hr incremenets, woken by the light over and over. Bathroom light was too bright and bathroom fan was too loud. Also had to put up with couple above who had sex all night and morning long. Squeaking bed.

Disappointed

I a very unhappy, I had to pay $150 deposit, I was advised it would arrived back in my bank account within 7 working days of checking out. It has been over two weeks and I have still not received my deposit back. The hotel have been incredibly difficult to contact and very unhappy. Do not book a stay here

The rooms were large and clean. There was a minor issue with the bathtub, but the staff resolved it promptly.

Due to an international transaction delay, the deposit hold was released to my bank account about a month later.
