The Lodges at Gettysburg

It was beautiful. Not far from town and very relaxing

Just the parking by cabin.

This is an absolutely gorgeous property, and the lodges are just perfect. The picture is the view from the front of the main building. You can see big and little round top in the distance.

Absolutely nothing. It was a perfect base for our "history vacation."

Cabin was beautiful and very comfortable and clean

No stove to cook on. The refrigerator is too small

Tavern and outside pond, firepit area and such were all pretty nice. Location was a bit out but nice. I liked the area.

I thought all cabins were individual, I thought some had adjoining cabin rooms for people traveling with you, not for people you didn't know. I was expecting a cabin to ourselves with a couple chairs out front like in the pics online. We had to go in the side door and no chairs, no real view while other people stayed in the adjoining room. The bed was not comfortable, the mattress should be replaced. No wake up alarm/phone. Room was a bit old looking, scuffed up bed frame, bathroom looked repainted but found at least 5 spots of paint on the floor and also on molding, not very nice. Some other stuff not the best either. Not horrible, but a bit disappointed.
