The Cushing Cottage is on a 17-acre private property three miles from the Battlefield and four miles from downtown Gettysburg, providing a beautiful, peaceful setting for your relaxing get-away. Cottage has screened porch to enjoy solitude for everything from your morning coffee to your evening recollections of time spent on the battlefield, downtown stroll, or at the many special events in Gettysburg, such as the Reenactment, Remembrance Day, and the Bluegrass Festival.

Third time here. Very peaceful and clean. Beautiful sunrise out the window. Friendly bunnies to feed. Available smoking area out on the porch. Truly a five star place. Wish there was a tub to soak in! Maybe a hot tub some day? Hehe. Thanks again!

Our host Chris was very friendly and responded quickly to our messages. The cottage was perfect for our stay! The bed was very comfortable. It was exciting to see all the animals…especially the turkeys.
