Cozy streamside cabin, convenient to Ski Liberty and Gettysburg

Overall we had a good stay we were there for a week visiting the Gettysburg sites, Hershey and Harpers Ferry. This is right on a road but fortunately not a busy road. This is a cabin in the woods so don’t expect to find zero bugs. Everything was as described a good deep cleaning of cob webs in windows etc would go a long way. The outside patio was not swept upon arrival and we did it once and it lasted the week. Grass also could use a mowing. The sound of the creek and the woods behind with the many windows made up for the few things mentioned. It was cozy and very unique. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

This cozy little cabin was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy day touring Gettysburg. The sound of the running stream was a great way to go to sleep at night. The cabin had everything you would need to cook a big meal if you chose to. I would definitely recommend and will be going back to the cozy cabin by the stream.

We had a wonderful stay. This cabin is so peaceful with the trout stream babbling just outside the bedroom windows and a cozy interior. It's very convenient to groceries, etc in Fairfield and for Civil War/history buffs it's close to both Gettysburg and Monterey Pass battlefields. The trails on the Michaux State Forest and nature center are just a stone's throw away and fun to explore. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Can't say enough good things about this rental or Paul!

The cabin was very cute and rustic. The amenities were as shown. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the cabin. I think some more care could be put in to clean the dust and cobwebs.
