Raystown lake close to boat launch and all amenities wooded paradise

It’s a great property. Kitchen had everything I needed. Everything new and updated inside. It appeared clean enough but my poodle was finding food under furniture so I had to clean up to his standards. Lol. Would be fine for most people. Very private and quiet. Everything worked as it should. Beds were very comfortable. Even had Alexa to turn things on and off. Everything was explained in writing. Basement is in the process of being finished but we didn’t need that space anyway. I would recommend it.

Wonderful place. We and our grandchildren had a great time. Property owners thought of everything. Our only regret is we did not book it for a few more days, and we will definitely try to stay there again in the future.

Kurt’s cabin in the woods was a perfect getaway. We had a great time on the river and we also visited a state park and a the lake beach. All just minutes away. We hope to go back soon!

The rental is average at best at this time. Communication was good and we had no particular issues with utility. The owner needs to be aware of the following:1) The shower drain appears to be leaking onto the Dryer downstairs2) The property not properly cleaned prior to our arrival; hair in tub, sink, toilet....stinkbugs over floors, counters not wiped, etc.The property appears to be "under construction", being updated, etc.... it has alot of potential. However, it would be considered unsafe for kids downstairs in basement area, where property is entered....screws lying on cement floor, nails, paint, insulation and tools are within reach of children who may not always be supervised.I do not remember if it was in the property description or not....this property is not accessible for persons with disabilities and is not ideal for seniors who may have difficulties navigating stairs....just more than we would do again if other options available. There was no view of river from the property this time of year (May)Generally we enjoyed the stay.....and appreciate the time we had with family there.
