Bed was comfy. Large tub and bathroom.

Reservation was messed up and staff was rude about it.Made us change rooms at 845 in the morning. Refused to make coffee in the lobby, none in the room.We would had gotten a room with a pool or ocean view. Only booked this room because of the in room jacuzzi.

Unexpected Gem.

Very clean, super comfortable bed and plenty of towels. The front desk girl was friendly and helpful. This is not a luxury hotel. It had all of the necessities, no pool, no spa. We had a comfortable quiet night and paid a fair price.

The room was spacious. I'm sure in off season when it's a good rate it's worth it. Check in staff was friendly.

No early check in. No pool, no hot tub. 1 ice machine. Breakfast consists of muffins and bananas. Windows are not sound proof can hear street traffic. Air conditioner can not keep up with room size. Room had weird odor, like old lady perfume. Room had an exposed outlet. Busted lights outside the building. Trash at the front was over flowing from check in to check out. I know we were staying at the Hilton but come on.

Very poorly maintained. Many items in our room, like stove and refrigerator, did not work. While we were informed at check in no adjustment to price was made or even an apology.

Breakfast was good. Parking was good and how close to the beach it was, was nice

The whole kitchen was not cleaned. Sticky counters and cabinets as well. Dishes where not clean at all. Dried on food on utensils. Only one burner worked and it was filthy. Staff didn't really seem to care.

Not much. It was a basic room and we were able to purchase it the day before very short notice.

Honest Review of Room 411 – Palace Inn & Suites, Lincoln City, OR ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️(4 out of 10 stars) I stayed here recently on short notice and was grateful to find a room during peak summer travel, but unfortunately, the overall experience was below expectations—especially at nearly $200 for one night. The hotel itself is noticeably worn down. Our room (411) had several maintenance and safety issues that really need to be addressed. The air conditioning unit did not work properly, even though the outside temperature was in the low 60s. The room remained uncomfortably warm throughout the night, and our only option was to crack the window. However, the window had no screen or safety barrier—a major concern considering we were on the third or fourth story depending on the side of the building. This is extremely dangerous, particularly for families with children or even adults who may be under the influence. That should be addressed immediately for safety reasons. The toilet was already running when we entered the room due to a stuck handle and required manual fiddling throughout our stay. The TV had been left on, the refrigerator was functional but missing internal racks, and some of the lights did not work—perhaps due to being unplugged, but still, this reflects a lack of preparation and maintenance. There were also suspicious stains on the walls and on the mattress base. While I didn't detect any bed bugs, the cleanliness didn’t inspire confidence. Customer service was minimal at best. The same front desk staffer was present at both check-in (around 4:00 PM) and checkout (around 9:00 AM), which raises concerns about overwork or understaffing. His demeanor was very dry and scripted—exact same phrases repeated to multiple guests. I opted not to report our issues to him due to the lack of engagement. The amenities were very barebones. The breakfast was more of a placeholder than an offering—store-bought muffins, a few small bananas, and very basic coffee.

This is now my go-to hotel in Lincoln City!

I loved just about everything! Especially the comfortable beds! I have back & hip problems, but I slept quite well! I also loved the extra pillows! The staff was kind and helpful. The morning muffins looked delicious and I had a hard time telling myself no!

My curtain bas broken and wouldn't fully close. But I used a hair clip to clip it to a nearby lamp, blocking most of the light from outside. A minor inconvenience.

The extra bedroom in the family suite

No coffee pot in the room, no toaster in the room, no stove in the room. The description of the family suite said it had a “complete kitchen”. We really wanted to use the oven to cook with, but all we had was a hot plate. It made cooking for several people extremely difficult only using a hot plate. It only had a very small mini fridge in there that didn’t hold much food. The breakfast food (bananas, muffins, bagels) only lasted until 9:30am. Most people want to sleep in on vacation, so closing breakfast at 9:30 was very inconvenient. It should last until at least 10:30am. Also, the pool/jacuzzi was closed. We looked forward to using it.

The employee at the front desk did not want to accommodate early check-in. We had to wait two hours and their didn’t appear to be any thing going on. They weren’t busy. When we came back, we were about 10 minutes early, and the attendant looked at his watch.
