The general manager did more damage than good. I return to Los Gatos frequently and now won’t stay here again. The GM would not attached my loyalty points to my account bc I booked using bookings.com. Not pleased. The vanity mirror was broken and the remotes to tv needed batteries.

I say this because these days most people representing organizations be it Best Western or any other consumer serving business tend to make you feel as though they are doing you a favor by doing the job they are being paid to do... meaning they do the bare minimum possible. The staff at BW did not give me that impression at all, the opposite.

I received a fair return for the money that was spent on a room to stay in for a week. So I was not missing anything or lacked anything.

I would suggest this place to my friends as it’s really comfortable and you get great value for your money.

Good parking, good location, nicely decorated room, lots of towels. The best I found for me was the extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Slept really well. The staff was attentive and cheerful, and took care of all my needs

The only minus for me was it was difficult to figure out the remote controls (2) for the tv to bring up the available stations.

We had reservations two days, but only stayed one. They would not refund us the second day, either.

Breakfast was good. Nice selection of items. All items were fresh.

The room smelled mildewy and during our showers the water just stopped flowing. You had to continually turn the knob off and on to restart...I didn't think that I'd ever get the shampoo out of my hair.

The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good enough

This was one of the loudest hotels I have ever stayed in. You could hear every step of the people above you or the people on the other side of the wall. We were woken up all throughout the night in both rooms we stayed in, but the second room was an improvement. The rooms do not have curtains, only wood slats, so car headlights shine into the room. The first room we had, had multiple dead light bulbs, so the light was poor in the room when getting ready. The gym was closed. Also, you have to ask the front desk to get you ice or water. Lastly, parking availability was quite sparse at times. No microwave and the second king room we had, had no chair like advertised.

I love going to Los Gatos. I visit a friend of mine there every year and I will stay at this hotel again.

The property was very, very clean and in a beautiful location. Los Gatos is a beautiful city.

The only problem and it’s a minor one with the property is that it’s a mile to the town and if you don’t have a car because you’re visiting, you have to walk it but the walk is pleasant.

It's an OK place to stay (very) short term as access good and the room is clean and quiet.

Breakfast was marginal, I can't say I liked it. Juice and fruit were fine, that's the best I can say. Room was clean and always supplied with clean sheets and towels.

The bed was horrible. The mattress was excessively soft and lumpy. The fitted sheet did not fit the bed. The quality of sheets also made the bed uncomfortable; I think they are synthetic and very hot. And, who needs a comforter on a bed when it's 90-100 degrees. Cable kept going in and out. Internet slow. No microwave. I went out and bought my own toilet paper because what was supplied was thin and pretty bad quality.

We had to request a change of room from 214 to 218. 214 was inside the main building and cooking smells from breakfast would wake us up around 6 am. Also the HVAC makes a constant whining noise in the main building, even at night.
