Very misleading breakfast

This hotel advertises free breakfast, but it’s only bread(white bread, bagel and frozen waffle ) and jam. Very misleading. No egg no potatoes, no sausage

Clean, basic, but a good value.

The breakfast is very basic, but they were efficient in keeping it stocked. The staff are very friendly and the room clean and bed comfortable. The pool was open and clean. Very close to the on and off ramps. Easy access to town.

I knew the hotel was right next to the freeway and this is a more rural setting (as in the city is small), but it was the noise from the other guests walking along the corridor that was distracting. The walls allowed a lot of guest noise to leak into other rooms. Also the guests were not to smoke in their rooms, but instead they smoked right outside of the rooms, which then drifted into others rooms. I am sensitive to smoke, so this aggravated my asthma.

Room sleeps 3 Nasty pissy tiny seat for 12 yr old to sleep on

Room was a waste. In room jacuzzi and full bath and shower with tub. Description said room for 3. My 12 yr old had to sleep on a gross pissy tiny seat. We had to cover it with extra sheets and towels just so she didn't get ill or something. We were traveling with pets, so we got a pet room understandly but do better.

A great surprise!

The room smelled clean and was very clean. The shower was amazing with great water pressure. The beds were very comfortable. Good size refrigerator. We didn't eat breakfast so we couldn't speak to that. We were afraid it would be noisy since it is right next to the freeway. Couldn't hear a thing! We were in town for a family Memorial service, and getting a good night's sleep was important.

The only drawback was that the lobby smelled like carpet deodorant. There isn't any carpet, though. If it smelled clean like the room, it would have been great.

The location was ideal for us. The staff was friendly and the room and bathroom were clean.

We selected this hotel because of location; it is off 101 North and a few miles from State Road 253 (Booneville and Mendocino). The location was ideal; however there was some freeway noise throughout the night. The hotel room and bathroom were clean and nicely appointed. The water was hot and the shower pressure excellent. The continental breakfast choices were limited but adequate for getting the day started. The coffee was excellent.

Given the price and location, we found the motel met our needs for one night.

Good stop along a road trip

Note that they keep the tub stoppers at the front desk. Unfortunately, we were not told this at check in. When I wanted to use the tub, I discovered no stopper. I called the front desk several times over a 10 minute period, but no answer. A stuffed wash cloth solved our problem.

The location was excellent for us.

The breakfast was good; more food than I anticipated. The room was spotless. But there was no night light in the bathroom.

There were no wall decorations. The mattress was too soft for me. It was just right for my wife.

We did not have breakfast there.

The room was stark and the lighting (blue/white like florescent) was cold lighting, even by the bed. The towels were old and thin and I would have used them for rags at home, maybe. The heater made a very loud noise when you tried to use it. That noise would have kept us from sleeping or even thinking! The bathroom fan was also very loud and there was no trash can near the toilet. There was no table and chairs in the room either, but a large gaping space where one should have been. The staff great. They were kind and responsive when we asked for an extra blanket because we couldn't use the heater and great when we complained in the morning. The desk clerk immediately go the manager on the phone without being asked to do so. The manager gave us a refund for the second. night as we had already paid for two nights but were NOT staying for the second night.

The room decor was miserable: all grey with dark blue accents; grey floors (no carpet); no bedside tables/plug-ins on the outer edges of the beds; could not adjust water flow in shower, which wasted a lot of water and couldn't be turned down

It's a Best Western hotel as good as any, but with a good location to Lake Mendocino!

The room was more spacious than expected. The buffet-style breakfast provided was also good considering the price I paid for it plus the room, and the location is convenient for heading out to Lake Mendocino!

Bathtub appeared a little dirty. Location is not convenient for people who prefer to have a hotel closer to downtown or shopping areas (which I do not care about but just putting it there for those who do).
