Staff were welcoming and friendly. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Location was convenient for our stay . We’ve stayed many many weeks in a Residence Inn and have always been pleased with our accommodations. Residence Inn San Marcos was no exception. We would recommend. One small detail and suggestion. Please use real metal silverware for your breakfasts! Plastic knives broke and went through about 6 trying to cut a waffle at breakfast!
Plastic silverware for free breakfast . Beds could be a shade softer.

Size of the room was good, and having kitchen space. Front desk staff were quite nice.
Hall carpeting is very worn and buckled. The sofa bed was terrible, even with a comforter over the springs. Breakfast was only so-so.
