Hotel needs to improve

Breakfast was scant. No bread(bagels only), no hash browns or other potatoes. Scrambled eggs were chunky.

Parking fee is bogus. $12 for what, exactly? Not disclosed at time of booking. Bathroom had shabby chalking around tub. Shower control knob was loose and hard to maintain temperature. Curtains near bed were torn. Wine glasses were not clean. Not up to Marriott standards!!!

Horrible housekeeping

It was close to the stores

The room was ok but housekeeping did a horrible job. There was a knife that was not washed in the drawer, the coffee maker did not have the coffee pot. There were no tissues in the tissue box, the bathroom floor was not mopped, one of the drinking glasses had a chip on the lip i almost cut myself while drinking, the carpet under the table was not vacuumed because there was a piece of candy wrapper along with some dust bunnies. With the price that they charge it was not worth it. This is the worst residence inn I've ever seen.

Everything is clean and working properly and all the staff are so wonderful especially the cooks and well I gotta say even housekeeping. They are just wonderful front desk as well ha ha ha just a great place.

$12 per night for parking outside which then was hit with a $1.75 “Parking Tax”. California.

Morning desk staff could not have been more disinterested despite it being 530am and no one in the lobby except the guard who,was working down a bowl of cereal.

We all slept comfortably with the one bedroom and queen bed with fold out bed. My son and grandson slept on the foldout

Wasn’t what I expected

Being double charged after I paid online when I told the staff member before hand and tried to show proof too and she didn’t want to see it. Tubs were nasty and weak, it had a weird smell in the room, refrigerator and hallway smelled like smoke, the bedroom door was loose, crack in bathroom mirror, sofa bed was weak and not sturdy, sink in one of the bathrooms were stopping up, the elevators were to far of a walk for my relative who just came home from the hospital.

Elevator wasn’t in the best condition , walls were torn up in it . There wad a lot of stains in the hallway , the key cards had a hard time working from the outside . Pool was unkept .

It was great!

The only thing I could say that could be improved upon was the fact that there were dogs in the unit above us that barked like crazy. I think it was because we were in a corner room and they could look out the window and see a lot of activity. Perhaps in the future if the dog people could be put more mid Units and not so accessible to outdoor distractions.

Nice stay in south San Jose

Property is nice, has a BBQ and outdoor seating in the quad area, along with a basketball court. Rooms are large and quiet. We didnt really hear anybody during our stay other than a few stomps from people above us. Location is perfect as you can hop on the 101 and 85 freeways easily. Lots of food options around, and grocery store across the street. Breakfast was pretty good for the most part. They werent serving scrambled eggs, instead they had little round quiche (that my wife said was really good) and breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese, in an english muffin. Both were good, but I would also just prefer scrambled eggs, especially for the kids. Otherwise, it was normal breakfast with 3/4 different cereal options, yogurt, oatmeal, breads with cream cheese and jelly and butter for spreads, waffle maker, etc.

Rooms are a bit old. Still clean, but showing their age. Wife didnt want our daughter sitting in the tub for a bath, only a shower, so take that for what you will. I thought it looked clean, but not a fight worth fighting. I had to go outside, to get to the lobby. There was no hallway that connected our room to the lobby. So always had to venture through the quad area to the lobby for breakfast, or they just have coffee and tea in the lobby, etc. after breakfast. Wasnt a major issue, but if the weather sucks, could be annoying.

Great rooms for great price

The place was clean. The room was a great size for a great price. We had a 2 bedroom suite and I loved that both of the rooms had their own bathroom. My kids loved it.

Breakfast was limited. We are a big breakfast family, so it was a little bit of a letdown.

This was a great location for our roller hockey team to stay together. The rooms were very nice, the pool was in a safe and fun location, breakfast was convenient and pretty good. It was a good experience! Thanks!

Bad service

Two bedrooms are big enough to our family

I spent four nights there. At The first day no housekeeping. At the second day,after my inquiry, they did the housekeeping but I found my daughter’and my contact containers were threw by the house keeper. I told the front desk ,he said he will told the manager. But till check out, I don’t get any response. By the way, the housekeeper can’t speak English The last point is, I forgot my face wash in the room when I checked out. When I call the phone number of the inn, no response. I left message on Booking App, no reply either. The service can’t deserve the title’by Marriott’

It’s time for a face lift at this RI. My parents had to switch rooms because the fire sprinkler was leaking. This specific location is dated but still functional. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The location is very handy and the staff are friendly and helpful.

When we checked in we were very tired and didn't have the energy to complain about our lodging the 1st night. The next morning we brought a lady from the office over to have a look at the total destruction of our room. She moved us immediately. The next room was better but the entire Residence Inn is in need of renovation.

The location

The cleaning was not done until my sixth day there. I requested for my room to get cleaned and it didn't happen. I had to ask again to finally get it cleaned.
