My room was excellent and the location to where I needed to be for a convention was perfect. Close to all kinds of great restaurants and shopping.
The pool was very small, and my room had a strange smell, like someone had tried to mask a bad smell with cleaning products.

The hotel was close to Woodfield Mall and to restaurants and Target. They had a heated pool which the kids enjoyed. The staff was very nice and friendly.
The room was either super hot or
Super cold. I couldn’t get the temperature to be comfortable and stay consistent. We had two rooms and it was the same in both rooms.

Location is close to many restaurants and shopping. You will need a car or uber
The very first night the closet doors came off of its track. I mentioned that to the manager next morning. He did not do anything to fix it. Next night it fell on my knee, and then on to the floor. My right knee is still in pain. I promptly reported that to the manager on duty next morning. She said she will report that to the general manager and she will give me some points on my Marriott bonvoy account. I told her that I don’t have an active Marriott account anymore. Offered a room change if any becomes available. They said I can move to another floor by Saturday evening which I declined as my daughter was also staying in the next room. Repair man came and took the door. No repairs were made.
