Amazing location, some arrogance in the services.

Location is amazing. Right by the gondola and all sorts of bars, restaurants and entertainment. Hot tubs were great after a day skiing.

I was bothered that we got a "complementary" housekeeping service on one of out 5 days there. Like they were doing me a favor. Housekeeping used to be provided every day and you could opt out (which we usually did) to help them out. And they didn't even show up on our complementary day. To top it off, we were asked in our arrival documents to load the dishwasher, pile the towels, and strip the beds on departure day. What? Seriously? Very bothered by their attempt to push this on me when I pay good money for the room and they want to maximize their profits.

Cute hotel but not worth the cost

The location is excellent, close to restaurants and bars. The best part was being within walking distance of Van Sickle Bi-State Park, where there was plenty of snow and a charming, scenic road that made for a perfect winter walk.

The hotel offers valet-only parking at $45 per day. Unfortunately, early check-in wasn’t available (even by 30 minutes and with a willingness to pay extra) and the room wasn’t released until the 4pm check-in time. Checkout is at 10am, which felt a bit early. Housekeeping is provided every other day, and during our stay some amenities were unavailable or affected by ongoing construction (some games in the game room were not working, jacuzzi closed, washer/dryer out of service and we also received a notice indicating that the water would be shutoff for 3 1/2 hours!). While one staff member was genuinely kind and helpful, most interactions felt less welcoming overall. For the price, I don’t feel this hotel met expectations, especially with many nearby options that are more affordable and just as conveniently located.

Beautiful location, nice hotel, terrible service

On arrival, it was going to take at least 30 minutes for them to bring my 80 year mom’s, sister’s, and my luggage to our rooms. So, I carried it all myself. There were long black hairs plastered to my shower walls. I had to ask twice for the shower to be cleaned. They only clean rooms every other day. They didn’t charge my car our first night after I signed up to have it charged. The night before we left, they called me while at dinner to move my car from their charging station. I had valet parked my car. They had driven my car to the charging station and had the keys. I didn’t even know where my car was parked.

Great visit at the Marriott Timber Lodge

Very nice One Bedroom villa with a full kitchen, dining table, nice sitting area, queen sofa sleeper couch, nice pool, fireplace, located in beautiful Heavenly Village near shops, restaurants, and movie theater. Everyone is very nice!!

Paying $35.00 a night for parking. We had two cars so this was $180 for parking fees for three nights. One car only stayed two nights. No other parking on site. The guys that managed the cars “in and out” were great. It was busy and everything was very smooth.

Love the location and the staff were wonderful!

Unfortunately it wasn’t all that clean. The main issue being a weird substance coming from the jacuzzi jets. Housekeeping said that happens sometimes but we have one at home and the weird little white bug looking things all over the tub definitely didn’t seem normal (I’ve also cleaned houses for 12 years and I’ve never seen that) I had my son shower immediately after he got out. The jacuzzi tub also turned on by itself in the middle of the night around 1am and startled us all to death to the point we had to play go fish until 3am just to get the boys back to sleep😆 And as a side note the fire alarm went off multiple times during our stay. It woke us up out of at a dead sleep at 5am which was 2 hours after we fell asleep from the first incident. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well. It made it more of a bummer that this was a graduation gift for our boys and had I known the issues we would have I would’ve gotten us a stay at a less expensive hotel for 2-3 days vs. the one night. Staff was great though! Definitely not their fault!

Convenient and Comfortable but Need to plan for valet parking time

Perfect location for Heavenly Gondola ski access and lots of restaurants, bars, shops, and access to Lake nearby. Hot tubs, pool, gym and amenities were also great.

Mandatory Valet parking - on weekends, it can take 45 min-1 hour or more to request the valet to retrieve your car. Not convenient at all and lobby was a zoo on Sat/Sun. We ended up calling a friend to pick us up so we didn’t miss boat tour, otherwise we would have been late because of delay from overwhelmed valet staff.

good location but $35/day for parking - ridiculous! Also, was told room wasn't ready, even thought we booked a month in advance and had requested early check in. Check in is at 3, we showed up at 530 and room still isn't ready? I even messaged them an hour or so before check in to say I was having dinner across the street and would be there soon.

Comfortable hotel with good amenities in a great location

Great location. Lots of options for shopping & dining just outside of the hotel. Hotel amenities were nice - used the pool, jacuzzi and fitness center. Room was spacious and clean. Front desk staff were welcoming and friendly.

Didn’t love paying $35/day to valet park. In the room, would suggest brighter lighting around the mirror above the sink - the dim lighting made it difficult to put on makeup. Also, could have used some kind of additional padding for the pull-out bed. Wasn’t the most comfortable.

Best to remove Marriott Brand from the property. The star* will at go up as expectations would lower

Downright unprofessional behaviour and zero customer service. The behaviour of the hotel staff clearly shows that they have too much faith on the location and the brand of the property and they don’t need to do anything except go through the motions of their job.
