Beautiful Ski/Snow Lodge - Right Next to The Runs

I was not expecting such a beautiful place - really loved the lodge feel. The hotel was so central, and there is a lot to do within the hotel itself - restaurant, cafe, bar, entertainment - singers, pool... I am sure there were gym facilities - but I didn't make it there!

The building work outside our room - albeit they tried to keep the disruption to a minimum.

If we got a room that wasn’t a ADA compliant but a normal room. We were told we didn’t have a room upon arrival except a ADA room. It was across the property from the front desk, (like 1/4 mile walk) Room was next to room cleaning staff, and the tram and courtyard were very loud when I opened the window for outside air. The AC hardly blew air…not real happy. Next time we will try another hotel…

Beautiful property with a nice feel for families

We were so disappointed that all of the little special and unique touches were gone this year. It’s the reason we booked again from our stay last year. I.E. no drink service at pool, no kid activities— last year we loved the popsicle stand, and sundaes for kids to make. No more warm cookies at check in. Literally nothing at this hotel except a lame scavenger hunt.

Great location near Stateline.

The location is outstanding. It was very nice to get out and walk to dinner, and browse through the shops. This was a very quick work trip, and so did not have time to enjoy the abundance of outdoor activities available in So. Lake Tahoe.

Overall, me and my family had a great time and created a lot of memories.

The staff were friendly and quick with check-in and valet assistance. I did notice that they were low on staffing. We used to have bell man that would help us bring our items to our rooms but that was not available during our stay this year. Overall, the room was tidy, clean and we were provided with all the supplies we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, bathrooms and bedroom. We had a great stay!

I made our reservation in the beginning of March and had paid for our room ahead of time. The night prior to our stay, I got an email notifying us that we will have to move rooms the day after our check-in. This was frustrating as we are traveling with a three year old and an 85 year old. Our reservations for the beach, car rental and restaurants were already made in advance. It was a complete inconvenience. It would have been hard to relax and settle in the night we check-in knowing we had to pack up again in the morning to move and not have a room for at least 4 hours. I was not made aware of this possibility nor was there a disclaimer when I booked the room. Our entire stay had to be moved, including paying an additional car rental fee, reservation fee and requesting additional time off from work. This was the only way we were able to truly enjoy our stay.

The staff was very good. Laurel the concierge was excellent. We would stay there again.

Valet parking only was an added expense daily and with tips every time you went in and out. Our first room had a 4 plus foot high riser that took up about five feet of room space. The problem was it was in front of the window so if you are less than 6-4 you probably could not open or close the blinds which made no sense. They changed our room after we requested another with out hesitation.

We really liked having a kitchen in our room, and the hotel was centrally located to everything. Also, like the valet system using the app.

Way too many noisy kids. There was no real place to relax. Also, there was a slight smell of urine at pool. The decor seemed dated and a bit rundown for a Marriott.

a fantastic getaway at a wonderful place

located in Heavenly Village or right next to, the room was fantastic. it has a full kitchen, everything you need is there, it was very clean and quiet. we couldn’t hear anything outside our door at night. just a fantastic place to stay . I highly recommend this place .
