Great downtown La Jolla location

Great location for downtown La Jolla. Bathroom and room very modern and included a desk. Coffee and refrig in the room, microwave available near lobby. Lighting was good.

Could be noisy in the summer and weekends as the first floor rooms are right on the street. Even upper floors might be since all rooms face the street. The AC unit was very noisy. Parking is expensive, but they bring the car whenever you want it. No idea where they parked the car! Means you are tipping frequently

Very nice location

The room was very nice with great ocean side views. The street below is very busy but good for ppl watching and the sea gulls always have something to say. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were exceptional. The rooftop bar was fun with awesome views and very friendly staff. Many restaurants walking distance no need for Uber

I would have loved to have had the option to recycle in the room. Some rooms have an actual balcony but ours was just a window balcony so maybe be more upfront with that.

Wonderful getaway with my daughter and loved meeting people!

The staff were kind and hardworking! They definitely need more staff as everyone is stretched thin. Great location!

The seal on the patio door was very poor and let in too much street noise. Could have been more thorough in cleaning—don’t forget the corners! and, be thorough in the shower too

Nice hotel in a central location but on a busy street and pricey.

The location was great! Right in the heart of La Jolla with a very short walk to food, shops and the beach. The room was updated and very clean! Also the welcome pastries were a surprise. You also get a small discount at the roof top restaurant which has a nice vibe.

The room was smaller than anticipated but still comfortable. The rooms do face a busy street with a fair amount of pedestrian traffic. My biggest complaint is the entry door does not have a threshold which allows, noise, outside air, insects and very small critters into the room. This may sound like an exaggeration but there is at least a 1" gap under the door. Crazy! La Jolla has a lot of places to stay and many are very old. This is nicely remodeled but seems just a bit overpriced.

A lot to like but even more to be desired.

This is centrally located on the La Jolla strip. The staff is friendly and kind. The bar, Birdseye, has delicious food. The bed is very comfortable.

The hotel is tiny so you can hear all the movement from the floor above. The bar was right above our room and it sounded like a airplane was passing every few minutes. Our first room was a closet and extremely dark. Don't get the queen room with no view. The window is small and to the outside stairs. You can hear the music from the bar. We ended up paying extra to be put into a regular size room. There is no parking onsite, unless you pay $35 p/d for valet. It can be very difficult to find parking near by and all the public parking structures close at 6pm.

Great location, disappointing hotel.

The location was great, the restaurant was good and the women at the front desk were professional and kind.

The room felt like a jail cell and was partially under ground level. The only window had bars on it and was located on the path going to the restaurant, which was busy and noisy. There was a dirty sock left on the floor from guests before us and a half used jar of petroleum jelly on the vanity in the bath.
