Shelling out more money

It was ok

Had to pay for parking, $10 cash or $15 with card. Not having any place else to park. The price of drinks and snack was extreme. Beds were to soft for me.

A nice place. I would stay there again.

Hotel was very clean. Linen was high count cotton. The night staff polite and welcoming to guests. There was a modernistic 'meditation room' and a cozy fireplace gathering area in the dining room. Very nice touch. Small indoor pool and hot tub room. There was a basic snack cubby in the lobby instead of machines. Breakfast was the full standard offering with everything but the waffle machine. The rooms well insulated and there was ZERO sound from other rooms, running water at night, etc.

On arrival I was 'upgraded' to a two-queen instead of a single-king. Smaller bed. That wasn't the agreement. The Amana wall heater was noisy and blew a full blast of cold air. Even on low fan. If there was anything that negatively affected my stay the most, that would be it. The Wi-Fi wouldn't connect after several tries. Some sort of DNS configuration. Went to the lobby and then it suddenly worked. The t.v. had no picture at first because default was the channel range. Parking lot was on the smaller side and almost full, despite not many guests. Not much space for trailers or campers there. There was an additional $10 'security fee' to park due to local break-ins. This covered an extensive insurance policy. Staff was patrolling and closed the gates at night. It was ringed by bushes and a low spiked fence. However, this was not advertised or disclosed previously on Booking.com. Neither was a $50 temporary credit card charge for damage deposit. (Better to be vigilant I guess.)

We were snowed in for 2 days there, it wasn't too bad.

Prices on snacks are crazy high. I had to pay it because we were snowed in and didn't have food in our room.

Terrible customer service.

The room was OK.

The charged me to park after I arrived. I really had no choice since the room was non-refundable but the only parking was completely snow covered. They refused to waive the fee. They told me I could move my car under the canopy and park there but wouldn't let me park without paying their fee. I was already parked and trampled threw the snow to get in the building, why would I go back into the snow at 10pm in 0 degree weather. Just terrible customer service for something so insignificant. Breakfast there was nowhere to sit your plate while trying to get food from the serving trays, which had broken hinges, so they didn't stay open. I dropped my plate trying to balance the plate, tongs and get the food out. Attendant seemed inconvenienced to be there. Bathroom wasn't super clean, vents need cleaned. TVs require you to log in to watch TV Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the building.

Nothing on the property it self, this is out of the property control. But only thing that was not the best was the volume of noise through the night and morning from the cheerleading team. We did not sleep well due to it. We was part of the cheerleader team staying but children of others was running down hallways, jumping in rooms. Just hard to sleep. But not any control of the property. It happens when big events occur in a hotel.

Staff was nice especially the older white lady that works in the kitchen she was so nice to my kids

The room wasn’t clean all the way how I would expect it to be there was hair in the bathtub in the corner like body hair I booked the room because they had a indoor pool and it was my sons birthday and he just wanted to swim just to not be able to swim because the pool was so freezing that none of the the kids wanted to even swim in the pool and that was the point we even rented a room they started to get in the hot tub just for a guest to start yelling at my kids for jumping and being kids and got very mad with them to the point I went and complain and I wasn’t the only one just for nothing to happen and we had to get out the pool because we was so uncomfortable I tried to sleep on the pullout sofa just for none of the stuff I needed to be in the room had to go in the middle of the night just to get stuff to be able to sleep comfortably and wasn’t even comfortable the bed was so hard to even sleep on and there was M&Ms on the bed and trash all behind the sofa tried to get breakfast just for them to be putting alway all the breakfast at 920 but doesn’t even end until 10am couldn’t even get no potato’s or scrambled eggs had to get a round eggs like get serious breakfast to be included and all you can get is pancakes

Bathroom tub very slippery. Seating in room was poor. Lack of ice on each floor. Room not cleaned daily and snide staff. Needs of elderly not considered in room design. Some lights inoperative or broken.

Location was perfect. Room was clean.

Parking. I was told I had to pay for parking when I checked in due to recent break-ins in the Columbus area. I didn't mind paying for parking until I returned to the hotel after my event that evening to find there were no parking spots available. Luckily, the front desk clerk found a space where I could park my car overnight. Although not the ideal space, due to location near a curb, I was grateful to him for finding one.

Booked room for 5 people. Had 3 bath towels and 2 wash clothes. Asked housekeeping for more and she got in trouble for giving them to us. Breakfast was alright, had to wait for things. Hotel is pet friendly however there is no carpet in the rooms and a dog barked and whined for hours until 11pm. Indoor pool was cold, hot tub was like sitting in straight bleach, burnt your eyes when the jets were on.

The facility was clean and in a good location. This was my second time staying here. Breakfast was hot with several choices and everything was good.

I think their beds could be upgraded to be more comfortable. They weren’t terrible but a little hard and I didn’t sleep the best.

We stayed one night in the jacuzzi room and book a king room for the remainder 2 days received confirmation and when we checked in they said they had more ppl from the hospital than expected and they did not have a king room they gave us a standard room with 2 beds not comfortable or what we booked

Nice stay for a family vacation

The property comes with a beautiful view and a very nice room area. The pool was big and spacious and the hot tub actually was hot.

The staff seemed frustrated with their jobs and many rude people inside the hotel. Keycards kept not working despite not holding it by our phone.

The staff was hard to understand - I called several times prior to our trip and was told a different thing every time - they told us there would be a shuttle until 6:30 they stopped at 3 , I called about about early check in 2 instead of 3 they said no charge - due to concert - they charged me 30 for that then 35 for early parking which I was told wa also no charge - they said it was up to management

The location

The room showed on booking.com wasn't even the room we got even though thats what pictures made us want the room. It was filthy when we got there and even though we were given the wrong room we were told it would still be an upcharge to get the one we booked on the site, there was also someone there having the exact same problem when we arrived. This was a huge issue for our child's sleeping arrangements. And when I paid they took the money out of my account, put it back in and a week after we left the hotel they took the money back out again which overdraft my account and cost me even more money.
