Location

Reservation was made for one king bed room for a special occasion with paid upgrade. However we didn’t receive what was originally book. Room wasn’t clean and had no towels

Beautiful window & view with a giant black-out blind covering it all. The mechanism was broke and would only go up an inch or so. Also side light was broke. Don’t know if there were any actual side lamps or just objects that looked like a lamps. Just Props.

As expected

My electric blind didn't work. They sent a maintenance man to my room to fix it. I wasn't particularly comfortable having him in my room and as such rushed the job. I told him it was okay for him to leave the blind halfway down. It was still daytime and I didn't realize my room faced the street with about twenty bright business signs that would light up my room all through the night. I told him it was okay, but it was not a decent night's sleep. They should have moved my room.

Pick the Delta

The Delta Downtown is always lovely. Super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful clean comfortable rooms. I had a few itinerary complications and they helped me extend my stay and even let me stay in the same room. When I forgot my charger and returned after checking out they located and delivered it to me in minutes.

Had a few problems with the elevators and the fire alarm system sounded two evenings in a row because of alarm system problems but they were fixed after that

Clean, modern, quality hotel! 10/10 would recommend!

The location of the property felt safe and the hotel itself was nice and very modern! I arrived very late to check in, almost midnight on the date of my booking, and the staff was very nice during check in and even validated my parking in the garage that they own behind the property. Our room was very clean upon arrival which is super important to me. This is a random positive, but there were lots of plug-ins for chargers and plenty of lamps/light sources scattered around the room. The room was spacious with a generously sized bathroom! A family member of mine was having a procedure at St. Mary’s, the reason for my stay, and the hospital was located only a few minutes down the road, so that was very convenient!

The price per night for a king room comes to about $150 including taxes & fees, which can seem a little pricey, but considering the validated parking and the quality of the property, that’s to be expected. I have very little, if any, negative things to say about Delta Hotels by Marriott in Huntington! :)

Extremely pleasant stay at the Delta Marriot

The property was in the perfect location for our trip. Room was spacious, extremely clean, restaurant on site. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant that we dealt with. Parking was easy despite the large number of people in the hotel.

Employees were professional, polite and always willing to help you, and quickly also.

Booked my room thru a third party, which cut me out from my Marriott points, very disappointing, but will deal directly with Marriott the next time I stay.

Location was great and staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.

The only thing was parking was limited. But I k ow it was a busy time with the activities going on at the Marshall arena. I found a place at the back and I didn’t move my car. But we could walk to the Arena and there was a good variety of places to eat Within walking distance. We really like Luigi’s.

The Delta Hotel was comfortable and well-appointed. A little extra effort would have gone a long way

The room was spacious and comfortable. We used the pool and fitness center which were both well appointed.

A majority of the guests were in town for an annual marathon. Several requests for a shuttle to the start of the race were ignored. It was a 1.2 mile ride and would have been greatly appreciated by those of us who were unable to wake sleeping family for a ride. The shuttle van was parked in front of the hotel.

For 5 of us (in a room that can accommodate 6),there were 3 towels. We called down for more, and were told there were no more towels.

It’s location was perfect. Its right in the heart of the bustling little downtown. Walkable to shops and restaurants- it was only about a 5min drive once we exited 64W. Great for getting right back on the road the next day.

The only very minor issue is there were problems with the streaming service on the TV. Not a big deal!
